Fighting with fire

chapter 12

Going to try my best to not procrastinate writing this, I love this story with all my heart but sometimes writers block hits me like a brick. This one probably won't be a long one

We started the european tour in Italy, and moved to france and this week we're in a few cities in England and our last week of the European tour we'll be in Ireland. Tonight we're in london, we've done live shows almost everyday since we've been I Europe.

The only days we've had off are Saturdays and sundays. The raw roster's in canada doing basically the same work days as us. I'm just really looking forward to being back in tampa and going to pride.

This being my first pride I'm so so excited, sonya seems to be excited as well. I sit across from sonya as we're getting our hair and makeup done for tonight's show. I look up at her and smile, she's typing on her phone and my phone buzzes. I raise my eyebrows and look back down at my phone reading what shes texted.

You look so beautiful baby girl

My cheeks heat up and I smile biting the inside of my lip typing out a text. I look back at her and she smirks reading my reply. "So how are you doing lately?" The hair stylist asks curling my hair. I smile "I'm good, I'm happy" I answer. She nods and sprays my hair with hair spray.

Nattie and mella come up dressed in gear "hey girls" nattie stands at my side. "Hey nat" I smile and she side hugs me. "How are the tag team champs doing?" Mella asks. We both smile and look at each other, the happiness I feel right now is amazing. I wouldn't want it any other way. "We're good" we say at the same time. "Who's your match against?" Nat asks. "Sonyas got a solo match against lacey so mandy and I will be by her side" I answer.

They finish our hair and makeup as were paged to the gorilla area. Mandy meets us there and I peck sonya's lips before we go out. Mandy and I sit ringside with commentary, I'm holding both mine and sonyas belts. "Congratulations on coming out" Michael Cole mentions. "Thank you Cole, it feels great" I thank him. "You're the second female wrestler to be in the LGBTQ community right?" Corey asks. "Ah yes, Sonya was the first" I smile and watch sonya put a finishing move on lacey turning it to an ankle lock. She's got a tough hold on her ankle and Lacey taps out. She rolls out and holds her ankle glaring at Sonya.

Mandy and I get in and we group hug. "Good job babe" I whisper. The crowd cheers excitedly and we go backstage. We spend the rest of the show in catering once we've changed back to our normal clothes. I lay against Sonya with her arm around me, almost everyone around us know we're together but to be safe there won't be any PDA. "So congrats on coming out" braun says across from me. It's weird being friends with my ex, its something I've never done before but I guess if I'm going to date coworkers that's something I have to do.

"Thank you braun" I whisper. He nods and the group continues talking about random things. Then suddenly the attention is switched to me. "So what are you doing for pride?" Nattie asks. "I'm going to a few different cities pride parades, it's my first year out so why not" I shrug sipping on my water. They all nod "good, you seem happier" alexa smiles looking at the two of us. I nod and smile glancing at Sonya. Renee joins us sitting next to nattie "what are we talking about?" She asks looking around.

They all smile "violets coming out" nikki answers. Her eyes widen and she smiles "I truly didn't see that coming, but I'm happy for you, congrats" they all smile and tell me how proud they are of me. " we should go out!" Mella says excitedly. Sonya smiles and nods "sure why not!" I agree. Liv, nattie, alexa and nikki all nod along. We all look over at braun "are you coming?" I ask him. He shrugs "I dont know" he whispers. I tilt my head "come on you've gotta come out with us, it's my coming out outing!" I try to convince him.

He sighs "fine!" He groans shaking his head. "Thank you!" I smile brightly. Sonya rubs my side and I lean my head on her shoulder. She kisses my forehead without others noticing. We plan what were doing tonight after the show, since it's friday we're off tomorrow.

After the shows over we all head to the hotel to change before meeting up at a small club. I wear a black top with one sleeve and black Jean's and a flannel tied around my waist. Sonya wears black band tee and black cargo pants. We take mirror selfies in the mirror of the womens bathroom. She kisses my cheek and I hold my drink happily. We stop taking selfies and she turns to me kissing me deeply.

We dance back to where the rest of them are and they laugh at us shaking their heads. A trey of shots sits on the table and I grab one taking it down quickly. It goes down smoothly without having to chase it with a lime. Everyone holds their drinks up "to violet for being a badass bisexual women!" Nattie shouts over the music. I laugh "to me!" I shout making them laugh. We continue the rest of the night getting as drunk as we can.

Tampa pride

Sonya and I stand on a float waving mini flags and waving at people on the side. We've already gone to Orlando and LA pride. Europe was amazing, we went on a couple dates after that night and continued to get to know eachother. We haven't had sex yet, I made it clear that I wanted to get to know her first.

We also haven't fully told the world we're together so no public kissing so far. She wraps her arm around my waist and we smile brightly. "Thank you" I whisper. She turns to me "for what?" She asks. I smile "for being my girlfriend, and for being by my side" I reply. She smiles "you're so very welcome baby" she squeezes my side. I smile and look around us waving around again. We've only been together for about a month and a half but it feels so right, I knew from about 2 weeks into being with her that I am in love with her. Am I scared? Heck yes I am.

She leans in and whispers in my ear "I'm gonna kiss you now" she whispers. I turn my head towards her and we both lean in kissing deeply. Our friends that joined us clapping with smiles. We pull away and continue enjoying the parade.

Once its over we head to her place with a few of the girls. Sonya and I set up the drinks on the island of her outside bar while everyone else is inside changing into swim suits. Once it's set up she turns to me pulling me towards her. "I just wanted to say thank you for coming into my life, and I'm not sure how to say this" she starts and scratches her neck. "You're not breaking up with me are you?" I ask as a joke. She shakes her head and laughs "no baby of course not" she pulls me closer. "I am so so so in love with you" she whispers. I blush lightly biting my lip gently "I'm in love with you too" I whisper back.

She smiles pulling me in kissing me deeply. "Okay we get it you're dating!" Liv says jokingly. I roll my eyes and we spend the rest of the night drinking and celebrating pride. It's been one hell of a few weeks, next week it's to New York where pride originated. Liv crashes in the guest room and everyone else leaves for their hotel or home. I lay my head on sonyas chest as we lay in her bed half naked and sweaty from the first time having sex as a couple.

I know this is real and I'm excited for everything that's going to happen. The two of us conquering the womens division and loving eachother so much it hurts but it doesn't hurt too much. I yawn gently coving my mouth "go to sleep baby girl, I love you" she whispers kissing my head. I smile biting my lip "I love you too" I whisper back closing my eyes and falling asleep.

So I started writing this on my birthday, it's been about 2 weeks and no inspiration has struck but tonight it came thankfully. I hope yall enjoyed this chapter, I'll try not to take almost a month to update it I know it's a pain in the ass. Thank you for reading this
