My eyes fluttered to the morning light, for which I dug deeper into my pillow. Wait, I didn't use an extra pillow. My eyes shot open to see the chest of William. All the events of last night came rushing in. I groaned, thinking William had to see my anxiety attack.

It was better than Aunt seeing it. She would have freaked out.

"Good morning," William groggily spoke, stretching his hands over. I must have made them numb.

"Did you sleep well?" He asked.

I couldn't sleep much better than I did last night. William held me for the entire night as I kept trembling and tossing around. I smiled with my lips tugged down to stop me from crying in joy to have someone like him.

I didn't speak but flung my hands to give him a hug.

"Thank you," I said, "for taking care of me last night."

William returned the hug as he gently wrapped his arms around me.

"You don't have to thank me, Flower," he said, placing a small kiss on the side of my head.

Like that, I was full-on blushing. The butterflies in my stomach wouldn't stop bubbling, making me wonder if I had gastric issues. But it was always whenever he was around, he made me feel that way only.

"Go get ready for school, you're gonna be late," he said as we parted, getting up and dragging me in the process.

I nodded and grabbed a green flurry sundress since the weather seemed warm outside.

After having a long bath, and getting dressed, I got out to see William staring at the ring I gave him yesterday. I was glad he liked it. A sudden beep was heard from my ring as his eyes shot up to see me.

"Oh, I was just testing it out," he said sheepishly.

I just responded by sending him another beep. My eyes narrowed as an idea hit me.

"How about we make some meaning out of the beep?" William just shared a crooked smirk.

Just like that, we both ended up making some sort of meaning out of them. One beep meant we are calling each other, two meant it's an emergency, I don't know why William made that and lastly, three beeps meant I miss you. Again, William made that which I didn't complain about but barely held myself to send three beeps just then.

"Hey, I saw a car in the garage, it's your Aunt's?"

We were walking down the street to my school when William suddenly popped that question.

"Nope, it's mine," I answered meekly.

"That's a really nice car you got there," he said pushing his hands down his pockets.

"It was my dad's, he gifted it to me when I was sixteen," I spoke, my thoughts drifting to the nightmare I had today.

"Why don't you drive it?" He asked hesitantly.

We stopped walking as we reached a red light before a crossroad. I turned towards him, my lips trembling but I forced the words out,

"Will, my parents, they died in a ca-,"

"Hey girl!" We both shook up to the sudden interference. I looked behind to see Mikayla waving toward me from her car.

"Hey, Mikkie!" I waved back with a small smile before she motioned me to get in. I tilted my head towards William who just nodded and said,

"I will meet you after school," he said giving me his million-dollar smile as he started walking back.

I got up in Mikayla's car, my eyes gazing at William's back before I thought of something. I pressed the stone twice. William's head snapped at mine as he saw me smiling before I sent him three beeps.

He did the same.
