Chapter 3

Me and Ari we're having girls night at her house. We talked about our relationships, our sex life, hell we even talked about our family life.

Ari : So Bae told me that he wants to meet my parents, but I'm kinda scared to do that especially since my dad doesn't even know I'm in another relationship

Sade : Well I would let him meet them, you met his parents. And if your dad can't accept him oh well he ain't fucking him

We both laughed and she went to get us some more snacks. While she was gone I called my dad to check up on him in his studio session.

DeAngelo : Hey princess

Sade : Hey daddy

DeAngelo: Wassup

Sade : I was just calling to check up on you at your studio session. How's it going

DeAngelo : it's going good, and speaking of studio session I heard your record you recorded the other day. It's dope baby girl

Sade : Thanks daddy

DeAngelo : So I got this crazy idea

Sade : What idea 😐

DeAngelo : I'm starting my own label, and I want you to sign as my first Artist

Sade : 😱, quit playing daddy

DeAngelo : I'm serious baby, you've been patient long enough. Now it's time for you to shine

I screamed to the top of my lungs and did a little dance. Ari came in the room and looked at me like I was fool.

Sade : My dad is gonna sign me as a artist to his label

Ari : 😱😍,yassssssssssssssssss

Sade : OMG, I gotta tell Quees about this

I called Jaquees and it went straight to voicemail. So I called again and he picked up instantly

Quees : Hello

Sade : BABY I FINALLY GOT A RECORD DEAL

Quees : Damn baby my ear

I laughed and calmed down a little

Sade : I'm sorry babe, I'm just super excited to finally get the chance to showcase Sade Evans as an artist and not just the daughter of 2 legends

Quees : Well that's good baby, I'm proud of you. But I gotta go I'm about to make an appearance at this club downtown. If your still up I might come slide on your and Ari

Sade : Ok baby, love you

Quees : Love you too

And with that we ended the call. Me and Ari winded up going over my album details, and we instantly started writing down fashion looks. Life was about to change, and I can't wait.

2 Hours Later

Ari has fallen asleep on me as always, she can't hang pass midnight. I was just sitting by the window looking at the stars, truth is I've waited my whole life for this moment and now I'm the one debating on wether I'm good enough or not. My thoughts were interrupted by flashing lights. I looked down and saw Quees standing Infront of his car just looking at me. I smiled and he nodded for me to come to him. Quietly I walk out of the room and run outside to him. We kissed for what felt like forever, it was almost like neither one of us wanted to let go.
