It was raining when I woke up the next morning, little drops of drizzle padded my window as sunlight was trying to peep form behind the clouds.

Yesterday had been, well you can say was DULL. The only interesting thing is that I might have an admirer, Back at home I didn't really receive that many suitors, I did go out a couple of times but it always was just one date and then ignoring each other in the hallway. Maybe the lack of diversity drew him, I don't know. Maybe I should say yes, I mean I could do with some distraction right now.

I unfolded the note from my bag pocket and read it again.

HELLO, YOU ARE NEW. SEND ME A NOTE IF YOU WANT TO TALK.

I wonder why he wanted me to send him a note, I mean we have English together. It is a little weird but maybe he is one of those love note type of guys.

English was a decent class, the teacher was a typical type, bonded in the course sticking to it like glue. It would've been boring if I didn't have a new thing to look at. I asked some of the girls around me if they knew him. His name is Tristan, his family owns the towns only repair shop, THEY FIX EVERYTHING. Girls all said it in really high chirpy voice which made my eyebrows go even higher, like this enthusiasm for a repair shop.

I was staring at Tristan when I saw something shine behind Miss. Emily, our teacher. It was a spider and it landed right on her shoulder, everybody was aware of it but no one informed her, she was still clueless. I started raising my hand up, it was getting really cringe to watch now. My hand was half up when Tristan looked back at me and firmly shook his head, warning me to not do it. Maybe it was some kind of prank they all planned. I lowered my hand.

I was wrong, even if it was a prank no body knew, this would happen. Miss. Emily a few seconds later realised the presence of the spider and panicked, she jumped and screamed and threw the copy of Shakespeare right on it, killing it instantly. She looked traumatized, down right scared and no one was laughing, everyone was sober, almost emotionless like the life has been drained out of them.

Tristan looked grim. I saw her face change as she stared at something at the back of the class, I turned to see hoping for another spider but there was nothing. And suddenly, I heard it.

DIEEEEEEEEEEE

It sounded like loads of insects went suddenly past me whispering and as soon as I turned following their voice, Miss. Emily crashed into the window and fell.

Everything was quiet, I got up and moved to peek down the window. There she was, her body lying face down in the concrete, blood pooling all around her.

How can she fall like that?

Question ran in my mind as everyone came back to their senses, authorities were informed but there was still no panic, a teacher just jumped to her death out of a class window while teaching and nobody was traumatized, back in my old school kids would've started demanding a promotion that year cause of the trauma they experienced, and school like an ex husband with cheating allegation would do anything they asked.

Tristan was looking at me, in his hands was a another note. He passed me the note, it read.

SEND ME A NOTE.
