Immediately, girls started passing me on the way up the stairs, yelling they had to find one of the princes' bedrooms.

Others kept complaining about their shoes and the fact that 'they needed their beauty sleep'.

A girl accidentally pushed me to the side as she flew up the stairs as well. She stopped when she noticed and turned back to me.

"I'm sorry," she said with an apologetic look on her face.

I brushed it off and continued making my way up the stairs. I was wondering where I wanted to hide and thought about just going to my room and lay down in my bed. Deciding this was probably the best way I could spend my time, I walked over to my room. But just as I grabbed the handle of the door and turned it, a hand grabbed my arm. I looked at the hand and followed it to see the girl who had bumped into me earlier. She motioned for me to follow her and being too tired to argue, I did.

She led me to a door on the other side of the hallway. It was completely silent around us so I figured the girls' found the princes' bedrooms.

"I found THE BEST hiding spot," the girl who I followed told me. "And you have to see what's there!" She opened the door which made a soft creaking sound and closed it behind me after I walked into the room.

It was dark. Darker than I expected and darker than I would like it to be. I couldn't see the girl anymore and a part of me got a little scared.

"Hello? Where are you?" I whispered softly, wanting here to hear me yet not to hear me. Something bumped into me once more and I let out a scream, which ended up being muffled by a hand over my mouth.

"Relax, it's just me," the girl said. Then a light turned on. A soft melody sounded throughout the room, making both me and the girl lookup. In the middle of the room was a dollhouse. It looked the exact same as the palace, only instead of the white walls, it had a pink touch to it. To sum it all up, it looked magical and every kid's dream.

"Wow," the girl beside me said. I nodded my head and walked forward. The windows of the palace were closed with a curtain inside, but it was obvious that the light had come from inside the palace. There was a small handle on the side. The girl next to me tried to pull it to open up the dollhouse, but it wouldn't give. The melody sounded pretty yet creepy. It could come straight out of a horror movie or a little kid's bedroom. I lightly touched the dollhouse and when my fingers touched the outside walls, the melody stopped. The light turned off and both me and the girl walked backward. I hid behind some old boxes that were in a corner while the girl found herself pressed against a wall, by the one and only Lucian.

"Found you," was all he said as if he hadn't just run into the room with vampire speed. The girl was trying to catch her breath, as she had obviously almost been scared to death.

"Gosh, you scared the hell out of me," she said panting. "I know that Lydia, now I want you to bring me breakfast in bed tomorrow," he said winking. She groaned, making Lucian push her harder against the wall. "I wasn't asking." He growled. She nodded her head and slowly made her way out of the room.

It then was completely quiet again. I tried to not make a sound, as much as I wanted to stop my racing heart.

"I can hear you," he said. My body flowed with adrenaline and I was completely terrified over something that wasn't supposed to be scary at all. Lucian started walking around the room and with every step that he took, I bit my cheek harder. Then, without even moving, I suddenly gently pulled up and I stood against the wall on the other side of the room. Lucian stood a couple of feet away, looking at me curiously.

"What's your name, little one?" He asked me, taking my face in.

"A-Aliya," I answered, cursing myself silently for stuttering.

"So... Aliya," A shiver went down my spine as he spoke my name. "You do know I can ask you for a favor now right?" I stopped breathing. Oh my gosh, what if he asked me to clean the entire palace? But when he spoke, I'm sure all the air in my lungs left and there was no way I could breathe again.

"Kiss me,"

That was what he said. I tried to look anywhere but him but I couldn't deny the fact that I wanted to, even if I was terrified. I had never been kissed before and I didn't want to just give it to a prince who was most likely gonna sleep with the Lydia, the girl who was in the same room as me before.

"N-No," I said.

"Tsk, tsk..." He started. "I don't think you understand how this works,"

He started walking around the room, and my eyes followed him with every step that he took. His steps sounded loud, and I wondered if he had a sixpack.

"You, little miss, are not allowed to refuse what I'm asking you. Don't forget, I am a prince after all." I bit my cheek once again. My eyes scanned the door, calculating how long it would take me to leave the room and make sure he couldn't catch me.

I sighed as I knew my chances were incredibly low and walked over to where he was standing. He smirked and leaned down, seeing as I could barely reach his shoulders.

He closed his eyes and I leaned forward myself, planting a simple and short kiss on his cheek before running out of the room. He didn't follow me so I was either too fast for him or he left me alone. My lips were tingling like crazy and when I touched them with my fingers, butterflies erupted in my stomach.

I didn't stop running until I closed the door behind me in my room, and laid down on the bed. My eyes closed on its own and a smile crossed my face from the moment that happened only seconds before.

I checked my phone and noticed I didn't have any signal, so I put it on the charger and closed my eyes as I fell asleep.

The next morning, I was awoken by a knock on my door.

"Miss, breakfast is ready in five minutes." I jumped out of my bed as I heard this and quickly put on as much deodorant as I could and a simple yellow dress with a brown belt. For shoes, I decided flats were good enough and even though I was a lot shorter than the other girls, my feet still hurt like hell from the day before, and I honestly didn't feel like stumbling over those high things again.

I brushed both my hair and my teeth and almost ran down the stairs, where all the girls were seated nicely. The first thing I noticed was that four girls were missing, including Lydia. I sat down at the table, once again next to where Maggie used to sit as well. She was gone too. I grabbed a pancake and some syrup, together with some orange juice, and silently ate as both the girls and the princes didn't come downstairs during breakfast. I pretty much knew exactly what was going on, making it even harder for me to eat my pancakes.

"I know that Lydia, now I want you to bring me breakfast in bed tomorrow," he had said winking.

For some reason, I felt angry. I shook the feeling away, knowing it was both silly and strange and continued eating my pancake, after which I grabbed two more. I slowly began to talk to some of the girls, some of who were actually really nice.

I got to know a brunette called Samantha, but she preferred to be called Sam. She sat opposite of me and next to her was a girl called Angel, who was just as beautiful as an angel. She had long black hair with a soft angelic face. Her dark brown eyes were huge and made her face look adorable.

Both Sam and Angel knew each other from their previous packs, seeing as they were neighbors and used to patrol borders at the same time. They were both the daughters of alphas and were given this opportunity to make their pack stronger.

The three of us talked about how good the syrup was that they had here, and when we returned home, we would ask for a bottle. Sam also mentioned the weather was nice outside, but because I woke up so late, I hadn't noticed.
