Cal Jones, a sixteen year old girl with a rare cancer of the brain has been in the hospital for months. Her family comes to visit but not as often as the stranger that comes to see her everyday. She has fallen into a coma, expected to awaken but for now, no one is aware she can see what's going on.
The boy, 17 years old. Payte Parker. Troubled young kid with crushed dreams such as his singing career when his parents died in a car crash. Now living with his grandparents the thing he finds most comfort in is visiting the one girl in a coma. She looked familiar like he had known her before. But that's a different story.
