Third Person's Point of View

"Are we there yet?"

It's been hours since the group crossed the borders out of Cerulean and they were now heading east towards Aragon.

In between of the two kingdoms lies the well-known Forest of White Woods. It was named that way because the bark of the trees is colored white. The forest is also recognizably thick that sunlight seems to not reach inside it—but that doesn't mean that the forest is dark. The blue flowers on the trees' foliage absorbs the sunlight on their surface and emits it brighter under them. From above, the forest looks like the ocean but from down under, it looked like little blue fireflies flying around the forest.

"You've asked that 10 minutes ago and my answer is still the same—No," Hiro monotonously answered Kichi.

It was another one of Kichi's usual episodes where he bothers Hiro to pass the time. He answered Hiro with a loud 'hmph' before slumping back to his usual spot. The twinkling flowers above him kept him busy for a moment until he noticed how familiar it was for him.

"They look like blue stars from space..." he mumbled to himself as the flowers fell from the trees like cherry blossoms. One of it fell onto his face and the fragile petals cracked into pieces when he touched it. Woah. Kichi grabbed one of his empty potion bottles and carefully stored one of the flowers. It glowed even brighter because of how the glass refracted its light.

"Hey, Hiro. Do you smell something?" Kichi asked when he noticed the strange smell coming from somewhere.

"It's probably Hiro," Xael commented. Her head was outside the carriage window so she was able to hear Kichi's question. She was trying to catch some falling flowers but it seems that it cracked before she could even get a hold of it.

Kichi considered what his sister said and tried to smell Hiro's armpit.

"What the—?"

"You stink," Kichi said, desperately getting away from Hiro. He was mimicking a vomit when Hiro's smell made his face crumple. Hiro rolled his eyes at how over reacting he was.

"But seriously though, something's smells off—WOAH HEY!"

The horses suddenly stopped walking. One of them started to get dizzy and fell down in the middle of the road. Hiro grabbed one of his water bottles and tried to make the horse drink. Why aren't they waking up? One by one, the horses began going unconscious. What's happening?!

"W-what—oh no..." Hiro mumbled and took a step back, holding his breath.

"Hey Hiro! What's this?" Kichi asked, holding a strange rectangular thing.

"PUT THAT DOWN!" Hiro screamed but it was too late. Kichi fell down on the ground unconscious when he inhaled the scent coming from it.

Shit. It's knockout gas. Hiro was about to head towards the carriage to check upon the girls but something hit him the back of his head. Before blacking out, he heard footsteps and a pair of boots in front of him.

Xael's Point of View

Ugh. I feel dizzy. What happened? I feel tired and weak all of a sudden. Where exactly am I? Before going unconscious, all I remember was a piece of cloth wrapped around my nose. Seems like the cloth was drugged.
