Dylan always had the girls of Las Vegas wrapped around his finger. Whenever he would pass them at work or on the streets, would sigh and stare at him for long periods of time and smiled lovingly -which obviously made Dylan very uncomfortable (like any person would feel if they were being watched 24/7). Basically, everyone knew who he was. Only 'cause of his family. Dylan wasn't really rich, he was just the son of one of the richest families in Vegas. He also looked like his brother Jack Violet a.k.a. the chick catcher. The thing was that Dylan had no money. Yep. He's broke. He grew up in a wealthy family but when he moved out, he had no money reserved for him from his parents. Unlike Jack. Jack had money reserved for him from his parents when he moved and out had a family with his wife, Penny. Dylan felt bad for Penny because it was pretty obvious that Jack was seeing other women.
Dylan worked part-time at a Casino in the bar to get the extra dough. It was until one day when a woman wearing a brief-backless light gray garment, knee-high black leather boots, and a thick white scarf came into the Casino. He had never seen her before in the Casino. All he knew that she was hella beautiful. Dylan almost dropped the glass he was cleaning when she came and took a seat at the counter.
"Pretty boy," She tapped the marble counter with her black-painted nails and Dylan set the glass down and put both of his hands on the counter. He leaned in a couple inches away from the woman's face. "Get me the Screwdriver and keep them Canadian Whisky shots coming," She dropped her head to the counter and groaned.
"Rough day, Princess?" Dylan asked. He turned behind him and started to ready her drink request. "You can talk to me."
"And what could a bartender do about my problem, eh? Serve me drinks 'til I pass out and make me forget about everything? Ditch that stupid idea."
"Make you happier, maybe even take you clubbing, gamble with you on his breaks,- she groaned louder at that part- Maybe even talk about your problems?" The 'tender mixed the drink up. He dipped the top of the cup in a plate of sugar and started pouring the orange liquid into the tall glass. He put an orange slice on the rim and turned around to face the pretty woman. He set down the drink in front of her and turned back around again to grab a stack of six shot glasses. He grabbed the bottle of Canadian Whisky and turned around again to see the woman slowly sipping her drink. He layed out all the shot glasses in front of the both of them and started filling them up with the liquor. A tall, broad-shouldered man came over and sat next to the maiden. He put a muscly arm around her neck. The woman dropped her head and stared at the floor.
"Lillian, why'd you leave me so soon? We were almost done gambling." The man said. His voice was deep and dark when he spoke.
Suddenly, she started chugging her Screwdriver and went for the shot glasses. She shut her eyes tight and finished the shots. Dylan's eyes widened. She was definitely gonna tip over and pass out. She stood up and almost fell but caught herself. She fumbled in her purse for her wallet. She pulled out a wad of fifties and slapped them on the counter. "Pretty boy, I'll see you tomorrow, I'll want the same thing- just maybe more shots." She pointed a finger at him groggily. She walked away drunkenly from the counter and started up the stairs. The man chased after her and Dylan stared off as her smooth thick brown hair bounce against her back while she was going up the steps. He was glad to know he would see her the next day.ꕥꕥꕥꕥ
"Violet," A wide and chunky man came out of the main office. "You gon' leave m'damn Casino yet? I don't wantcha here," Dylan was annoyed with Henry. Henry Chaddin. His boss. Ever since he started working there, Chaddin always blamed everything on him- literally. Everything.
"Yeah, sure why not?" He said sarcastically.
"You dare get pissy with me, Violet?" Dylan loved getting Chaddin mad.
"Maybe I do," Chaddin clearly didn't like that. Dylan could tell and he smirked.
"I AM YOUR DAMN BOSS. THEREFORE, YOU DO WHAT I SAY!" Chaddin struck Dylan's cheek with a fat hand and the bloke fell to the floor. His face slammed against the Sandalwood floor. "Don't disobey me, Violet. I can do worse." Blood began to ooze out of Dylan's mouth. Chaddin walked out the door. Though, he didn't regret anything. Chaddin had been such a jerk to him for almost three years. He was done with it. All of it. But he had no strength to stand up so he lay there. Dylan scoffed.
"Bastard," He gathered all of his strength and stood up. He tripped multiple times but he made it to his Tesla.Dylan unlocked his apartment door and slammed it behind him. He went over to the kitchen sink and washed out his mouth. Blood dripped down his forehead down to the tile. Dylan had no intention on cleaning it up. He popped face-plant on his bed. He groaned and shut his eyes in frustration. Before he knew it, he fell asleep.
