My Brother's Worst Enemy

Chapter Twenty-Two ( Jade POV )

We pulled up in the garage and he checked to see if I was still sleeping . I grabbed my phone and and got out the car . I stood at the garage door waiting on Jacob to come unlock it .

" In a rush , huh ?" he joked . " Just really tired ." I said giggling with him . He opened the door and I went in straight to my room . I got out of my shoes and hung my sweater up . Got out some underwear and sweat pants along with a tank top and went to the bathroom to shower . " Jacob , I need a wash cloth and towel ." I requested from the restroom . " Look in the closet ." He yelled from downstairs . I got what I needed and went into the bathroom .

I started running bath water adding a few bubbles , just to help relax . I just stood there til it filled .

I undressed and got into the tub and melted in the warm water. Finally a little happiness and peace . Just soaked in the bath water til I dozed off .

I guess I was in there for a while cause Jacob came knocking on the door.

" I'm fine . " I mummered .

I heard him walking away . I began to get out the tub , pulling the curtin back . Grabbed my towel off the toilet stool and wrapped my body before getting out.

I started wondering if Alex made it back as I dried off and got into my PJs . I walked out the bathroom down the hall .

I could hear Jacob playing music faintly down the hall . I walked to his room and stood in the doorway nodding my head to the beat of Drunk Texting by Chris Brown .

He turned around from his computer screen and jumped when he saw me. " What are you doing ?" he asked . " Listening to music ." I joked.
