-Grace-

I woke up by the sun shining in my face through the window. I groaned and sat up in my bed. My bed was spinning and I felt a really bad hungover was about to visit. I made my way downstair and took an aspirin and some water. I went by Ashton’s room and opened the door a bit and saw that the bed was unmade and there was still a yellow post-it on the pillow. He hadn’t come home last night. I had to talk to him so I called him from the house phone and he picked up after a couple of signals.

”Hey” He said with his morning voice.

”Hi Ashton, It’s Grace. Where are you?”

”Wow, so do you care about me know? Really Grace, just stop pretending” He said on the other side of the line and my heart drop. But I started getting angry as well.

”We can talk when you’re coming home, I’m not going to argue with you over a fucking phone so get you ass home. I’m sorry about last night, okay?”

”Okay” He said and ended the phone call. I was still mad at him but I wanted him to come home. The last couple of month have been hell for our relationship. We fight all the time and I think I’m the reason for it. Before I was as I am now I was this happy and pleasant girl with great grades who wouldn’t hurt a fly. But when I got depressed I turned into a nightmare and I couldn’t stop myself. I went to my computer and logged in on Facebook. A couple of messages from some guys at school asking if I wanted to hook up or something like that. Everybody at my school thinks I became a slut when my life failed, but the truth is that I only had sex once, and that was with my ex-boyfriend. I wasn’t a failure nor a slut I was just sad but no one listened to me, ever. I heard a ringing from upstair and ran up and found my ‘not lost’ phone in my bag.

‘Mom’ the display showed and I pressed on ‘ignore’. I couldn't be bothered talking to her right now. If it was important she will send me a text as well. I was just really happy that I found my phone. I went down stair and met a tired Ashton by the front door.

”Hi” I said and sat down on the last step of the stair.

”Hey Grace” He said and started taking of his shoes and hung his jacket on the hooks on the wall. ”Do you want to do something” He said as it are argument had disappeared.

”Like what?” I said and tilted my head at him and gave him a confused look.

”I don’t know, eat lunch or something, I’m fucking starving.” He said and gave me a smile. Ashton always wants to do stuff and all I want is to stay in my bed with a good movie or some good music. Thats one more thing we like to do different. I felt my stomach call for food so I agreed on Ashton’s offer and ran up stairs to change. When I got down I had put on his shoes again and held his jacket in his hand. We walked in silence to the car and hopped in. A couple of minuter more of silence before I spoke up.

”Should we talk about last night or what?”

”No, I don’t see any point in that” He answered keeping his eyes on the road.

”What? Why not?” I said, I was so confused right now.
