Chapter One: Fire

"Hey! Can you hear me?!"

"Naruto! Get out! NOW!"

There she is sitting at the back of an ambulance under the dark sky, her beautiful lavender eyes looking at the firemen hosing down the fire in her apartment with all her things along with it.

She grabbed the oxygen mask, looking away from her apartment, but a large hand grabbed her wrist, stopping her from completely taking the mask off.

Her lavender eyes locked on the large hand having an idea whom it belongs to. Though she didn't want his hands on her, she didn't have the strength to fight her ex-boyfriend.

"Hinata, don't you dare take it off." His firm tone still gets her weak, even at a time like this. Those ocean blue eyes piercing through her body always gets her to stop her actions. And his hands—his hands got rougher due to his job as a firefighter, not to mention his body looks bigger too, sexy even.

"I feel fine, Naruto." Her voice still music to his ears even when it has anger to it. She didn't want to cause a scene in front of his co-workers and other citizens.

Naruto didn't let go of her slim wrist until she would say she won't take off her mask. "Bullshit. You've inhaled so much smoke you passed out!"

She stayed silent for a good minute thinking of what happened inside, unsure how the fire started. Her hand let go of the mask which had Naruto release his hold.

She finally looks up at the blonde fireman whose shaking his head with both hands on his hips. "Naruto, I need your cellphone."

"What? No way. You're still recovering! You know, just don't talk at all while you have that mask." He looks down at her with his arms crossed secretly liking having control of her.

She pouted, closing her eyes in the process and folding her arms at him. But crossing her arms was a bad idea for it made her breasts push up, and worse she was in her pajama purple shorts and white tank top.

Naruto's eyes roam her curvy body, biting his lower lip letting out a "fuck.." giving him a growing boner, which luckily didn't get seen by his uniform.

He looked away from her gorgeous body because if not, he would've snatch her up in a instant.

"Naruto, there you are!" His captain  walked up to the two sensing an uncomfortable aura once he was in front of the two. "Ah, it's good I found you with her." The captain looks at Hinata with a small smile on his face as he pulls out a picture of her family. "I found this unharmed."

He handed her the picture as tears start to at the corners of her eyes having the most precious thing in her hands. "Thank you.." she smiles hugging the picture.

"Naruto, give her a phone, will ya? The lady needs a place to stay." His captain said patting his back and walks away.

Hinata took off the oxygen mask while looking at him with a annoyed smile as he mumbles something under his breath, pulling out his phone from his back pocket.

He saw the captain was nowhere in sight and it made him smirk. He sent a quick text to one of his fellow firemen and then placed the phone back to where it was and saw a confused look on his ex-girlfriends face. "I know you don't have a place to go."
