A fairytale like story romance,

are a woman’s dream to come atleast once.

To walk down in church towards the waiting man,

she have love the most in a very long span.

Exchanging vows and saying I do,

is what she imagine through and through.

The kiss in the lips in the eyes of the mass,

when the priest will end the celebration of the mass.

Just like any other girl I’ve dream of it too,

to be married to someone I deserve to.

Have my own family and children so cute,

together we’ll live like a harmonious note of flute.

Then there’s a person who dream the same as me,

my girl best friend who really loves tea.

While I’ll have my coffee she makes her own drink,

as we talk about everything which in mind would   sink.

My best friend and I both exchange thoughts,

of our dream wedding the topic we brought.

She wants a beach wedding with sunset as the view,

while I want a garden one with an atmospheric dew.

We always argue on who will be the first,

who get married and face the altar of the church.

Then I suddenly change and made up my mind,

to be married as of now is not yet in my line.

I need to have that desired job of mine,

both love and career would be just so fine.

It’s for our future of the man I promised to love,

for the very family we both dream to have.

So I left my love and make him understand,

that our love will still continue to stand.

For I thought love and marriage could wait,

no need to rush for this will never be late.

All things went will in the start,

we still got in touch and send gifts in the cart.

I was so happy I achieved all my dreams,

a permanent job and a love sweeter than cream.

Until eventually the spark has been gone,

it feels like I’ve been hit bullets of a gun.

Everything I invest ended up in a lawn,

no more burning chit chat ‘til midnight on the phone.

Then I received a letter from my best friend,

telling me she’s getting married with her boyfriend.

I was so happy and forget my own pain,

so I decided to go home and be in her entourage lane.

But realization hit me and make me wanna die,

on the day of her wedding being happy is a lie.

I can’t believe this things I’m seeing was all true,

I want it to be a dream that I can just get through.

She’s happily walking down the aisle while I’m in tears,

I know this is the moment she’s been waiting for this years.

I watch from afar as this sadness I can’t hide,

the pain of being the bridesmaid when I was supposed to be the grooms bride.
