Gusley - A Healing Heartache

"I'm sorry but I need to go. Here have this necklace in memory of me. Hope we can meet soon." Gusion, a son of the paxleys, said. I couldn't hold it and let my tears fall.
I hugged him tightly and said "please don't go. Why must you go?" "I....errr.....need to migrate to Paris. I promise I would be back soon." I took out my mom's bracelet and put it in his hands. "Take this. Don't forget me ok."

"GUSION WE NEED TO GO!" A female's voice could be heard. I saw gusion's stunned face as I wept even harder. He gave me a peck on the cheek and smiled before leaving. I watched as his body slowly disappeared from my side. I took out the necklace and slowly put it on my neck.

When I reached home, I saw my family all sadly starring at the newspaper. I worriedly approached them, mentally preparing for sad news. Suddenly, my sister stood up and said "Lesley! This is your fault! If you haven't met gusion his family wouldn't have made us go bankrupt!" "But....I didn't know about this." I answered defensively. My father sighed and pat my shoulder trying to comfort me. When he saw that it wasn't working, he said "It's okay lesley. You wouldn't have seen it coming either." Tears were uncontrollably rolling down my cheeks as I realised how cruel gusion was. Just because he had to leave, he made my family bankrupt. How rude and selfish, never would have expected this sweet and gentle guy to be an asshole. He really did a good job on acting, really. But I have been naive as well, thinking that both our families could become one, the paxleys definitely won't make it happen, they have to be the best of the best. Just being convinced by gusion was so foolish of me, enemies to lovers? Yea right.

After all the tension, the family came to an ease. Everyone was trying to improve. Father was planning to start a new company, my sister in college getting her degree soon. My mom was always so caring being the best mom ever. However soon after, I had to go to MLBB High School. A place where my sister loved as she told me everything amazing about there. I am very excited myself as well! I get to new people and maybe even make friends with them! It was bedtime soon, I rushed back to my room and got ready to sleep. But before that I would always taring out of the window, looking up and admire the beautiful view of the night sky. The night sky was so beautiful yet so dark let my past life. My eyes became blurry with despair and disappointment while thinking of the promise he made. Suddenly, a shooting star emerge from the sky leaving a bright trail of yellow behind it. But, the shooting star began to change its direction and is now speeding over me. As seconds past by, he shooting star became nearer and nearer to me. At last, it gently landed on my palm with words engraved on it. It read: World's Best Sniper.

Sure, world's best sniper. They think I'm the best sniper? Haha, so funny. I literally dont know handle a gun let alone a sniper. I have bad grades and loon ugly with two coloured eyes. No one loves me at all, I'm a loner who is pathetic, maybe that's why gusion left me. These thoughts raced through my mind and I wept even harder.

Out of a sudden, a blow shined under my face and I began to rub my eyes, clearing my tears. As soon as I opened my eyes, I see nothing. Darkness was engulfing me and the heavy silence didnt make it any better. My eyes were trying to look for light but there was no light at all. The place is so soft that I could even hear my own breathing. I had to do something, I cant just sit here in total darkness. I gathered up my courage and stood up. I took a deep breath and screamed "ANYONE HERE?"as loud as I could. What I received back was echos of my voice and nobody coming to my rescue. I sighed and sat down again. Putting my hands over my face, trying to think of what to do.
