Black Hawk Down

It had been two months since Christmas. The entire city made a military task force that was led by Matthew, Cayden, Wyatt and myself while Charles ran comms. During this time I made a new thing of armor for this task force. It was a modern assassin kind of armor.
My armor was sleek with chain mail under plating. It had a hood over a skull mask and was color of my other armor but made of bulletproof, technologically advanced armor that was a different material that wasn't as strong.
Matthews was made the same material but was plated all around with a helmet that looked like it was from Crysis and was dark blue. Cayden's was plated with chainmail with a closed helmet and was golden. Wyatt's was sleek plating with some chainmail and a helmet shaped like a eagle that was all storm grey.
Apparently scouts found a fort full of mobs and reported back saying that the mobs had turrets and that humans were helping the mobs build these. Soon as I heard this I called all the guys and told them to meet me at my house and load that we were taking the helicopter. I grabbed my guns, ammo, sword and throwing knives. I put all my armor except for my helmet on and was waiting for them on the roof. I had my Voidium dog tags hanging around my neck in case I needed my powers. Ten minutes later the others arrived and we loaded into the helicopter.
I had Wyatt pilot while I briefed everyone on the situation. I told them that we were to kill all mobs but leave the humans alive to keep for questioning.
I had some new weapons like a auto pistol and a DMR now for combat. I had my sword strapped to my back for combat and now something I had Charles make called a Sonic Pulse Grenade(SPG) and a Dark Pulse Grenade. Everyone else had the same SPG but they all had other grenades.
Matthew had a grenade that exploded liquid nitrogen that would freeze anything that he called a Freeze Grenade or FG. Cayden had some Incedinary Grenades. Wyatt had grenades that electrocuted enemies called Lightning Pulse Grenades or LPG.
We were coming up on the base when I climbed into the front to see what we were dealing with. This base seemed to be built into a mountain. The walls had some turrets and I saw that mobs had assault rifles and were walking around. Some mobs had RPGs and one turret was loaded with grenades.
I saw ten humans walking around with armor. One of them looked up and saw us. He ran over to what looked like the head mob and pointed to us. The monster looked up and I saw his face. The monsters face was bull like except for the canines coming out of its mouth. The monster yelled and the mobs on the turret started firing and a rocket came shooting towards us.
I turned around and yelled to get out. Matthew and Cayden jumped out first and I saw them land in the trees of the jungle. I grabbed Wyatt and threw him out but he landed a mile away. I grabbed my helmet and put it on as I jumped out as the helicopter exploded and sent me flying. I landed in the trees and crashed down another hundred feet into the ground before being knocked unconscious.
I woke up a hour later hearing voices in the brush around me. They weren't any of the guys. I took out my sword and crouched behind them. They were mobs carrying assault rifles and there was about five of them. I snuck up on the closest one, put my hand over his mouth and dragged him back before stabbing him repeatedly in the neck.
The others noticed he was missing and started looking for him. I hid in a tree and when one walked under me I jumped down on his back and before he could say anything I snapped his neck. I snuck up on another and spun him around and jabbed my sword through his skull. I turned around and saw one other mob saw me and yelled before I threw one of my knives at him which hit him in the skull. I went to retrieve the knife but as I grabbed it bullets were fired at me. I dodged and jumped behind a tree before grabbing my DMR. I jumped out and pulled my gun up before I shot off the bullets into the mob before he could react.
I went over and kicked him to make sure he was dead. Then I tried to use my communicator in my helmet to reach Matthew and the others. I heard nothing but static and decided to move towards the crash site.
I made it to the crash site and saw hundreds of mobs searching for bodies. I heard movement behind me and pulled my shotgun out and spun around to see I was holding Wyatt at gun point.
"Easy there." He said.
"Damn it Wyatt I could've blown your brains out!" I said as I lowered my shotgun. "You find Matthew or Cayden?"
"Not yet. I think they're on they're way here now." He said.
"Good." I said. "The base is about three miles that way. If we can find Matthew and Cayden we can-" I stopped when I saw Matthew and Cayden.
They had been captured and were in the middle of the base. The mobs were taking all they're weapons away and about to shoot them. Matthew looked over in my direction before nodding at me.
They had gotten captured to get to us! They knew we'd be here but they didn't know where the crash was. I turned to Wyatt.
"I need you to cause a distraction." I said. "Try a little thunderstorm."
"On it." He said. He closed his eyes and next thing I knew lightning was striking mobs and it was having a torrential downpour.
Matthew and Cayden took the opportunity to quickly disable the mobs guarding them and grab they're weapons.
I threw in some SPG's. These would make the mobs heads explode but our helmets would protect us. Within a few seconds all the mobs were down (many were headless albeit it but still). Between the SPGs and Wyatt's lightning they never stood a chance.
Matthew and Cayden walked over with they're assault rifles in hand. They seemed to be fine.
"Thanks for the rescue." Cayden said. "Now let's move."
We started walking to the base. It took us three hours but we finally made it there. We met some resistance on the way but quickly took care of them. When we were at the walls outside the base I made a plan.
"Ok so here's the plan." I said. "Cayden see that ridge up there?" I pointed to the ridge over looking the base. "I want you up there sniping. And Matthew and Wyatt you are gonna be down here in the base with me. Go in silent and fast. Ready?"
"Just let me get into position." Cayden said. He left and started making his way to the ridge. Ten minutes later I heard him on the comm link. "Ok I'm in position. Go in."
With that Wyatt, Matthew and I started making our way to the base. We got to the wall and I boosted Wyatt and Matthew up. They pulled me up and we started making our way to the court yard.
We made it to the court yard and decided to get the jump on the mobs. There were at least fifty of them all with guns waiting. They saw us and there was moment of us looking at eachother before it went to chaos.
Wyatt and Matthew ran towards them as they dispersed across the courtyard. I grabbed my M4 and then started shooting. I could see snipers on the wall get shot by Cayden.
It looked like we were winning but then more started pouring out from inside the base. Now we were scattered and pinned. I saw Wyatt and Matthew behind a barricade shooting but they were getting outnumbered. Cayden had come down since he ran out of sniper rounds and was pinned as well. I decided there was only one thing to do.
"Ok listen up everyone!" I yelled over the comm links. "We need to use our grenades! All at the same time! Wyatt throw all your LPG's! Cayden and Matthew do the same with your Incedinary and FG's! I'll do the same with the DPG's!"
We all threw in the grenades. There was a moment of silence than everything went to absolute chaos. Fire, Lightning and Ice exploded everywhere! My grenades went off with them and all you heard was screams as the dark energy from the grenades devoured the mobs who were being burned alive, electrocuted and others frozen.
Within a few seconds it all ended. There was nothing left. All the mobs were dead. The humans came out as the mobs were being killed and they just stood there in horror. That's when I got up and made my way to them.
As I made my way to the first one I grabbed my sword off my back where it was strapped. I grabbed the little bastard by the throat and slammed him against the wall. He went for his sword but I put mine at his throat.
"You do anything you die got it?!" I barked. He only nodded. "Good. Now your all coming with us for questioning."
"Now why are you going to take my pets?" A voice said. The mob that came out was the wolf bull monster from earlier. "These people are not yours to take. They are property of Erebus."
"Now listen here you ugly piece of shit!" I yelled. "Your master will be killed and I will be the one who will sever his head from his body!" I threw the human aside to Matthew and the others and raised my sword.
"You dare challenge me?!" The monster yelled. He unsheathed his weapon as well. A two handed battle axe made of black iron and gold. "Erebus will be pleased to find out you will be dead."
"Stop talking bitch and start fighting!" I yelled as I charged. I was fast but he was just as fast. I didn't expect him to be that fast and agile so when he ran and swung his axe I was caught of guard.
His axe missed me by an inch. I swung my sword but he blocked and swung his axe again. This time I was ready though. This time I ducked under his strike and came up with my sword and cut off his arm. He yelled and stepped back in pain. He looked at where his arm had been and looked at me with a hateful look and then charged at me like a bull.
When he was about two feet from me I ran and jumped up on his head. I kicked off with full force which caused him to crash into the ground. I walked over to his body as he was trying to get up and stomped on his back. I slammed my fist into the ground next to him and caused a earthquake. This caused the mountain above the base to start crumbling down on it.
"Grab the humans and go!" I yelled. I turned to the monster and stabbed him in the legs. "You will die here. Tell your master I said fuck off in hell." I walked away and all I heard was him scream in rage before the debris crushed him.
I made it out in time and called Charles over the comm link. "Charles? We need evac. Jobs done though."
"Evacs on its way. Hang tight." He said.
Another hour later some helicopters arrived and took us back to the city. I went to my home and would interrogate the "prisoners" I guess tomorrow. Today's mission though weakened Erebus' army and gave us an edge.
