Prologue
I was watching the dark waves by the veranda of my cabin when I found myself walking my way to the sea. Cold breeze hugged my body as I took my shirt off and tossed it away.
Relaxing.
I thought as I decided to dive deeper. It has been my routine, working all day and swimming at night to relax my nerves. That was my kind of summer as the successor of Sunfords.
My eyes narrowed when I caught a glimpse of a long brown hair few meters away from where I was. Napailing na lamang ako at nagpatuloy sa pagsisid sa napakalawak na karagatan.
I was just hallucinating, I thought.
I was about to get off when I felt another movement under the cold sea. There I was sure, someone was with me. One swift move and my arms caught a tiny waist of a girl but to my surprise, the girl was naked.
I was about to start thinking that I just caught a mermaid—for she was naked but she's got legs. We were both shocked, staring at each other. My arms stayed wrapped around her waist while her arms were rested against my toned chest. My eyes trailed down to her jaw and then to her almost exposed breast barely covered with her long brown hair.
She caught me ogling shamelessly at her breast which brought her back to her senses. She wiggled off of me.
We were both panting when we reached the top of the water. I looked away when my eyes attempted to lock its sight to her breast again, while she hugged herself with her arms.
"Get off the water now," She hissed with her cheeks burning.
Sukat doon ay muli akong napatingin sa kaniya. "So, you're asking me to haul my ass off of here when you're the one who disturbed me." Iritableng sagot ko.
Her eyebrow cocked up. "Oh, did I?" She forced a laugh. "As far as I knew, I've been here for an hour now, wasn't it you who disturbed me?" She scoffed.
I narrowed my eyes from her way of talking.
"Who are you and what are you doing here?" I asked coldly. "Just for you to know, miss, what you're doing is illegal. We don't allow that here." Dagdag ko sa mas pinatigas na ingles.
She snorted. "What do you mean by that?" She asked, quoting the word 'that' with her fingers. "And by 'we', do you own this place?" She rolled her eyes ceilingward.
I heaved a sigh when I caught a glimpse of her boobs again.
'Holy sht,' I thought.
I was starting to think of how reckless the girl was for still staying in the water with me instead of getting off to get herself clothed.
"You," I locked my eyes on hers with my lips formed on a thin line.
She crossed her arms and faced me defiantly. "What?"
I moved closer to her closing the distance between us, she gulped in surprise but she stayed still. I went even closer then stopped when we were just one breath apart.
I breathed. "You're illegal."
