just want to point out that Becca and Roger's kids will have the same names and stuff as STL but their birthdays will be different because i am an idiot and didn't plan this correctly 🙃

Two months later, it was finally time for Roxy to do some baby visiting. Yes, on the 16th of June, Rebecca went into labour and fifteen hours later, gave birth to a little girl.
Roger had rung around everyone and while he denied it, both she and John knew that he was more emotional than he let on.
Not wanting to overwhelm either of them, they'd decided that they would go to the hospital without the boys (Arthur was at the stage where he wanted to touch everything and in a hospital, that isn't good) and so they'd asked Lori, a teen who lived just a couple of streets away to come and watch over them.
Roxy practically dances in the passenger seat all the way to the hospital and John can't help but laugh, "Excited?"
"Very," she nods, "Can't wait to get my hands on her."
"You...you do remember we have a baby at home, right?"
"Of course I do, John but it's a little girl! I bet she looks just like Becca."
"I wouldn't be so sure, love," John pulls into the hospital car park, "The Taylor genes seem to be out in full force. Just look at Theo. He's starting to look like Roger."
That was true. Sans nose, their youngest was the spitting image of his uncle and Roxanne didn't know how. She didn't know it was even possible for a baby to look like their uncle but apparently, it is.
"Four pounds?" she looks at John as the car comes to a halt, seeing that he's reading the information sign, "Four pounds to bloody park? Jesus."
"Like you can't afford it, John," she rolls her eyes fondly as she gets out of the car.
"That's not the point, Rox," he scrambles to follow her, "It's a hospital. Can you imagine that you've just said goodbye to someone you love, you've been there all day and you come out to...I don't even want to think how much it'd be if you got a ticket here considering it's almost a fiver just for the ticket. It's disgusting."
Roxanne gathers the small gift that they'd brought while he pays the machine and then meets him at the front of the car, letting him take the gift bag from her.
"I know," Roxy pats his chest gently, "It's not."
John continues to mutter under his breath about it as they make their way up to the room that Roger had told them that they were in and Roxy drags him down the empty corridor.
She knocks lightly on the door and waits patiently until her cousin opens the door.
Squealing quietly, she throws her arms around his neck, "Congratulations!"
He holds her tightly, smiling at John over her shoulder, "Thanks, Rox. Come on, come in. Come meet her."
They're the only ones there, their parents have probably come and gone though and Roxy shrugs off her coat, blindly handing it off to John.
Becca's sat up in the bed, cradling a bundle of pink blankets and pushing her hair behind her ears, Roxy tiptoes closer.
John tosses her coat onto the small couch that was by the door and watches as her hand covers her mouth.
"Oh, she's beautiful you guys!"
"Got her mum's eyes," Roger grins and John pats him on the back.
"Welcome to the club, mate."
Roxy carefully pulls back the blankets, "She really does, doesn't she? How are you feeling?"
"I can't stop smiling," the brunette admits, "God, Rox, I can't believe how much I love her."
"Pain relief?" John asks and Roger beams at him while shaking his head.
"Nope."
The two pairs start their own conversations when Roxy asks if they've picked a name yet, the Taylor's share a glance before Roger carefully takes the baby from his wife to lower her into Roxanne's arms.
"Her name," he begins softly, "Is Ellie May."
Roxanne feels her eyes burn as she looks down at her little face. She honestly doesn't think that she'll ever be able to look at a baby again without bursting into tears.
"Gosh you guys," she whispers as John presses against her back to get a look at her, "She really is gorgeous."
John hums in agreement, "Gonna have your work cut out for you when she's older, Rog."
The blonde shakes his head and picks up his camera, "Let's not think about that."

Wanting to give the new parents some alone time with their little one, John and Roxy don't stay longer than an hour and before they head home, they stop at Sainsbury's to pick up a few things for dinner.
John pays Lori when they get in, Roxy going straight up the stairs to check on the boys, who were both having their afternoon nap and after she tucks Arthur in, she goes through to their room so she can change. Anyone who says they can relax in jeans is a liar.
John follows her up once he's shown Lori out, watching in amusement as she flops down onto the bed.
"She's gorgeous, isn't she? Ellie?"
"She is," he nods, "Spitting image of her mum."
Sighing, Roxy sits up against the headboard, watching him as he starts changing out of his shirt, "I'd like a little girl."
His hand stills and he makes eye contact with her in the mirror, "Yeah?"
She nods, "Not right now obviously. I don't think I could handle three kids under the age of five."
Grinning, John steps away from the mirror and comes to stand at the end of the bed, "Well, you'll have no complaints from me, my love."
"Really?" she asks as he hovers over her, "You'd have another?"
He kisses her, "I think I've made it perfectly clear that I'd have loads of babies with you, my love. If that's what you want."
Her grin matches his as she wraps his arms around his neck, "Good to know."
