Smile

I was a boy
Young and bright
Who had a good smile

Darkness entered my life
It grew until it blinded my might
The darkness expanded
But you came up like a light

It was all a serendipity
I was happy, I was overjoyed
That was the important moment of my life
When because of you my smile increased overnight.

But I don't know what happened to you
You kept moving away from me
I was running towards you
But couldn't realise that everything else went away from me.

I was lost
I was weakened
I fell badly from a great height which you have taken me to
And I still wonder how am I alive.

I don't know how will i recover
From the pain of the spear that poked my heart.
Dont know how many people must i cheat
With the fake smile I put on.

Everyone asks me
" Are you fine? "
But do they know that by the reply they would hear from me
They would still be alright?

Now I am a man
Still young and bright
Who has a fake smile
And a charm which glows like a light
Because that is the only thing
The only thing you couldn't take away from me
