He's looking at you again. This time he doesn't look away. He starts walking towards you. You are nervous and don't know what's going on! You've liked him ever since you two started working with each other earlier that year and you hoped he liked you too but you just didn't know what to do or say! He starts talking to you but you don't know what he said because you were too lost looking at his beautiful lips.
"What?" You ask. A little too snobbish sounding.
"Oh! Sorry! Um I'll just leave I didn't know I was bothering you..." He started walking away.
"No! I mean, I'm sorry I didn't hear you I was um... Unfocused. Sorry What were you saying?" You ask.
"I was just wondering if you wanted to have dinner with me sometime.. But if you can't I totally understand!" He sounds nervous. Its cute you think.
"Okay! Yes that would be nice, what time?" You ask excited.
"I'll pick you up, be ready by 6." He says and walks away awkwardly.
You turn to your friend "HE'S SO HOT AND HE JUST ASKED ME ON A DATE! Oh my gosh. What should I wear? What if I burp? Oh I hope we don't eat mexican food, It makes me bloated and stinky."
Your friend grabs you and says "STOP! Calm down! Gosh you're crazy, you should be used to this by now. Tons of guys ask you out, you go on a ton of dates. It's going to be great, I'll help you pick out an outfit..."
He's back and interrupts (you hope he didn't hear what you were just saying) "Oh hey I forgot to ask you something... Um so I don't know what you like to do but I have some ideas. If you don't like them ... Just tell me. okay? So do you want to go to my place? Watch some disney movies? Drink some fruit smoothies? And make out?" He says.
You stare blankly. Kind of shocked. Speechless.
"I'm sorry! Too soon? Gosh I always mess everything up... I understand if you don't want to go anymore." He sighs and turns to walk away.
"Wait!" You say.
He looks at you with his dreamy blue eyes. He's looking at your lips and you realize you are looking at his. You both lean in and you realize that this, this is what you've wanted.
He kisses you. You kiss back.
