I started to slow down as the SUV came into view Dante was sitting down on a rock running his hand through his hair, He seemed nervous or worried,he spotted me and I saw a flash of relief in his eyes. I stopped the bike in front of him.

"What is this? Where did you get this at?"

"Its mine. My friend Sebastian gave me it for my birthday, and I'm putting it in the truck."

"She's a real B-U-T"

"Yea I know now help me load her on the truck."

He helped me load it on.

"Hey uh Dante do you want to switch,you know um let me drive, its getting late and you should rest. "

I waited for his reply but he just nodded his head.

"I've got the moohoohooves like Jagger!" I sang my voice off key,but hey I didn't mind, I mean how can you not sing to this song, that is until I heard a laugh on my right which covered up by a cough. I felt my face flush red, why did he have to wake up now.

"He-he" his laughing slowly dying off. His laugh made my stomach erupt with butterflies,either from hunger or embarrassment,most likely from hunger haven't fed on a human in over a year and it was killing me.

"Sorry didn't mean to wake you up." While turning down the radio.

Suddenly my stomach made a dying whale sound.

"Hey go to that exit I saw a diner. So we can grab a bite to eat." Oh great he heard it too.

"No its fine I'm not hungry."

"Listen princess the world doesn't revolve around you I'm hungry too." He said harshly.

A bit taken back at his newly profound bitterness, I took a sharp turn causing his head to hit the window,no one talks to me like that and gets away with it. I felt myself smile in victory as I heard him cuss and grab his head.

"Oops sorry." I said in the most fakest innocent voice I could muster.

"Ah whatever."

"What crawled up your ass?" And I thought I was grumpy when I woke up.

"What would you like to order?"the old waitress asked,she was wearing a blue and white stripped dress with a what used to be white apron was now a yellow stained apron around her waist.

"Can I have the steak with mashed potatoes. And a Dr.pepper. "

"How would you like your steak? Rare,medium rare, or well done?"
