"Why is she here? Tell me, Iida. Why is she here, in my castle?! Has she come to laugh at me?"

"I wonder.. if she's heard about the curse?"

"Nonsense. Nobody knows except those in this castle."

".."

"Prince Todoroki.. This must be fate."

The beast scoffs, planting his face in his hands.

"No, it's not."

"Well, how can you—"

"How can you be so sure, Iida? You know absolutely nothing about that woman's intentions. I can tell that she's hiding something."

The clock simply sighs and shakes his head.

"Maybe.. Just maybe, you should try and find that out for yourself."

3rd Person POV

The prince's clawed feet clacked against the steps, echoing quietly throughout the area. His eyes were fixated on the ground below him, and his fists were tense. He let out a small sigh as he made it to the top of the stairs.

"Woman."

He called out, watching as the girl locked away in the cell raised her head slowly. She looked tired, hungry.

"Did you need something, Mr. Beast?" She smiles softly, eyelids heavy.

"Why have you come here?"

The girl blinks slowly, leaning against the wall.

"I..I wandered into the forest and found this castle. I swear." She shrugs.

The beast only stepped closer upon her answer, staring at her with cold eyes.

"..You've been here long enough. Come with me, woman." He mumbles, unlocking her cell door.

She looked taken aback, but her shocked face quickly contorted into that of a happy one. She stood up weakly, walking towards the beast without hesitation.

He noticed how her movements were sluggish. She was definitely hungry, and tired. Yet she never asked for anything. She probably hasn't slept because of fear, and hasn't ate anything because the beast hasn't fed her all day yesterday.

"What changed your mind?" She questions.

"..Don't get too comfortable. You're still staying here. You'll just be.. in a more comfortable room."

She stared at him, mouth parting slightly.

"I suppose it is better than staying in a cell." She laughs lightly, scratching her head.

He simply nods and motions for her to follow him. She does exactly that.

"..Erm.. so.. Your name is.. Todoroki?" Y/n attempts for make small conversation with the furry prince.
