"What's up with you today?"

Nayeon asked Jennie—who is busy looking at the window. She haven't talk all day and just remembering everything. She can't get over what happened.

She woke up when her mom shaking her up. Her mom told her she just passed out and maybe she is having a hard time on her studies. But she is sure that it was not because she is having a hard time. She knows everything happened in real life.

But.. where is Jisoo?

"Nothing." Jennie answered and let out a deep sigh while still looking outside. Nayeon is curious about what is happening to her best friend. She knows that Jennie is a real snob and didn't talk sometimes. But she knows today is different.

After their first class. Jennie and Nayeon were walking together. Jennie is crossing her arms while Nayeon is hugging her favorite book.

"Where are we going?" Jennie asked when she realized that she doesn't know where they are going

"Library." Nayeon answered. She knows her friend hate library so much. When she answered her friend's question, she was surprised that Jennie didn't say anything or insulted the library just like before. "Do you have a fever?" Nayeon asked

"No." Jennie replied coldly.

"Geez..." Nayeon pouted.

They both entered the library. As usual it was quiet and there are only few people inside. They took a seat. Jennie just crossed her arms while Nayeon walked to bring back the book she was holding. She got another book and luckily it was her favorite book.

"Hmm hmmm.." Nayeon hummed and sits down in front of Jennie.

"What's that?" Jennie asked and pointed the book.

"Book?" Nayeon answered

"Damn you. Yesterday you were reading the tragic story of the general and now you're reading another book—"

Nayeon cuts her off. "Are you drunk? I'm just going to read this story now, I was reading a different story yesterday. And oh I'm on the last chapter—Yah! What's your problem?!" Jennie's eyes widened and took the book from Nayeon

She opened it and went to the last chapter to read it. So that means everything that happened with her and the General were all real. Jennie couldn't believe it.

"Why did you jump on the last part? Are you reading that too? I thought you hate books." Nayeon said but Jennie just ignored her and read the last part.

"King Jisoo cried when her love one died on her arms. With that, she realized something.

No one wins in the war. Everyone loses.
And if the General have learned anything in this long life of hers, it is this: in love we find out who we want to be; in war we find out who we are.

Jennie realized that the story in that book has changed. Jisoo didn't die. She won. But Jisoo lose Jennie. Jennie's tears form in her eyes. In the story, Jisoo's love died on her arms. But Jennie knows that she didn't die in that story. She just vanished.

"Why are you crying?" Nayeon asked her. "I knew it! You also love that book!" Nayeon smiled widely.

Jennie ignored her again and turned the page into the next one.
