3rd Person POV

"Man! I'm so frustrated!" Alex said as he tugged his hair aggressively. "Watch me! When I meet that dude again, I'm going to put him six feet underground!" "Alex, your being too loud," Aalton said smacking the boy upside the head. The wolf boy grunted at the contact and glared at the merman as he rubbed the spot where he hit him. Dana stood between them with her eyes downcast as her thoughts were running wild. She tried to think of any possible reason she could come up with to explain what she saw. "I must of saw wrong..." She muttered under her breath but since Alex has high intense hearing he heard what she said. "Saw what wrong?" Alex asked as his head tilt to the side looking at her with his blue eyes.

"Oh," she gave a nervous laugh a bit startled at the werewolf interrupting her train of thoughts. "uh, remember that mysterious guy that took those two criminals?" "Of course!" Alex growled slamming his fist on the bar counter. "What about it?" Aalton interfered curious where this is going. "Well, I thought I s-saw a...uh," she stuttered desperately tried to find the words to say it without sounding stupid or crazy. "Well, what is it?" Alex was getting irritated at how long it's taking.

"A human..." She finally said as she sweat drop once she said it. Both Aalton and Alex had a stoic expression before bursting out laughing. They were slamming one of their hands on the counter while the other was holding their stomach as they both had tears in the corner in their eyes. Dana blushed furiously completely humiliated. "Yeah, right!" Alex said leaning forward as his stomach started to hurt from all the laughing. "That's a fat chance!" Aalton exclaimed as he tried to gasp for air. "You probably need to get your eyes checked!" "Laugh all you want but I saw what I saw," Dana crossed her arms puffing out her cheeks in a pout.

"That could be possible..." Jack muttered as he put his hand on under his chin thinking of possible reasons. The trio jumped out of their seats startled by the Harpy's sudden presence. "Woah! When did you get here?" Alex yelled clearly shocked. Jack lifted his head to the trio lifting an eyebrow confused at what Alex was inferring to. "What are you talking about? I was here the whole time..."

"So, how does human end up in the mystical world, oh mighty queen?" Alex taunted as Jack had a tick mark forming because of Alex's remark but just decided to ignore it. "Well, remember learning about an Astral crack 49 years ago in school?" Aalton and Alex nodded telling the Harpy to continue but Dana was confused. "An Astral what?" she said making a weird face. Aalton scooted forward to get the her attention. "An Astral crack, is what everyone is referring it as, is a type of gateway between worlds. You know, the human and our world?" he gestured looking at Dana to see that she is listening.

"It was the first and probably was the last, seeing as there hasn't been anymore of those situation's for the last 38 years," Aalton continued. "About 30 different types of species volunteered to venture into it. Only 5 came back after a month and telling all about what was on the other side. They said that it was a single species and it was many of them. They brought books from the single species and that is how we discovered human's."

"What happened to the other 25?" Dana asked perplexed. Alex decided to intervene. "Oh, them? We monster's can't breath human world air and the human's can't breath our air. How do you not know this?" "So, what happened to them. Did they just die?" Dana asked ignoring the last sentence Alex said.

"Pretty much. They turn to dust when they die," Aalton bluntly spoke then resumed to explain. "Our time moves much differently compared to the human world. The 30 creatures that went through the Astral crack into the human world stayed there for a day while in the mystical world it was a whole month. The Thoth workers, librarians, said that about 2 hours in the human world already half of the 30 died from being infected by the air.
