As Arthit ordered, Sarawat followed Kong and Khao to the parking lot, then suddenly he saw a demon shadow running past in the distance. He immediately chased after it and lost track of it in front of the art faculty building.
The next day, a pair of students were found dead, falling from the roof of the building. Sarawat felt De Javu with the incident which reminded him of Namtan.
Soon the police and ambulance arrived to secure the location and investigate the cause of the accident. CCTV around the scene was confiscated and the bodies of both were evacuated for autopsy.
Sarawat came to campus at midnight and quietly investigated the scene to find clues, but nothing. When he was about to leave the location, suddenly he found a bracelet with a bell toy on the stairs, he quickly picked it up and felt familiar with the sound produced by the bell.
Sarawat widened his eyes in surprise and immediately suspected one person, unfortunately, the CCTV footage has been confiscated by the cops so he is unable to prove his suspicions.
Sarawat met Khao who was eating alone in the cafeteria and put the bracelet in front of her. The girl froze for a moment looking at the bracelet with a surprised expression, then smiled broadly and reached out to grab it, but Sarawat was one step faster than her.
"Where did you find it?" the girl asked casually to Sarawat.
"Where did you drop it?" the man returned the question to her.
"I-I don't remember, but I looked for it from yesterday..."
"You are lying!" said Sarawat.
"What do you mean?"
"I could still hear the sound of bells when you're leaving the hospital, then I followed you and Kong from there to the parking lot and..." he trailed off.
"What did you say? You're stalking me?" she grinned. "Do you actually suspect of me as a demon because I looked like Namtan?" she asked frankly.
"Are you the white snake demon?" Sarawat asked to the point.
Khao was silent for a moment, then looked straight at the man and laughed. "I thought the white snake demon only existed in legend, do you really believe it?"
"I thought you believed that legend was real?" Sarawat replied.
The girl nodded in agreement and replied. "Aren't you a great demon slayer? Can't you tell whether I'm a demon or a human?" she raised her eyebrows asking Sarawat.
The man lost his words and silence for a while.
"The white snake is a powerful demon with a great ability to disguise herself..." he looked straight at the girl and added. "But there is one way to find out..."
"In that case, shouldn't you suspect everyone who is by your side?" replied the girl. "Including Kong, Arthit, and Tine..."
Sarawat thought of the girl's words and nodded. "True..." then added. "But currently my greatest suspicion is on you unless you can explain why this bracelet could be found at the scene of the accident and prove your alibi that you have never been on the rooftop!"
"You also can't prove that I have ever been on the rooftop, don't you?" The girl retorted. "There are a lot of mice lately, they might accidentally bring it there, who knows..."
"You mean, mice might want to get revenge because you hate them?" Sarawat laughed. "I'll keep the evidence until the mice could speak to defend you..."
Finished saying so, Sarawat immediately excused himself, and at the same time, Kong arrived. He looked at Sarawat with curiosity, but the man did not say anything and asked Kong to be careful.
