Chapter 24

Hermione's P.O.V
After lunch we had a free period, I still was having a not so great day because of Draco. But it's not the end of the world.

Now that I think of it I didn't see Ginny during class. Weird.

I just shake my head and looked in the direction of the library. "Now that is a way for me to clear my head." I thought to myself as I speed walk to the doors of the library.

Draco's P.O.V
When Weaslette and I made it to the statue with the secret passage to hogsmede, we open the way and just looked at it.

"How are you even sure this is the right passage?" Weaslette questions.

"I followed your boyfriend here once, heard him talking about hogsmede and such." I say shrugging.

She just sighs and looks down the slide like passage. "Well, ladies first." I say as I gesture to the entrance of the passage.

"Um... no you're going first." She says, pulling fully infront of the passage.

"Plus this was your idea." She says right before she pushes me down the slide.

"CURSE YOU WEASLETTE!" I yell as I go down the passage.

After 5 minutes of me sliding down I finally landed on the ground and landed on my face.

As I'm getting up, I feel this weight land on me, pushing me back onto the ground.

"Weaslette, would you please. Get. Off. Me." I try saying without any malice in my voice.

She gets off quickly, brushing off some of the dirt she had on her. "I see Hogsmede, let's go get a gift for Hermione." She says running off.

I quickly get up and and chase after her. When she finally stopped, she looked around until she saw a great place to buy a gift. Sukie's Jewelry.

(A/N it's a fake store.)

"Let's go there." Weaslette says, pointing at the store.

I nod and follow her. We get inside and see the shop owner. "Hello there, are you a couple from the marriage law? Are you looking for rings?" She asks politely.

"Oh ha ha no, she's my... friend." I say awkwardly.

"Oh well feel free to look around." She says walking away.

"Weaselette, do you have anything in mind that she would like?" I ask.

"Hm, we could find something to do with her patronus." She says, acting like I should know.

"..."

"You dont know it do you?"

I stay quiet.

She sighs. "How do you not know Hermione. Granger's patronus?!" She whisper yells, trying to not disturb the shop owner.

"I don't read about her on a daily basis?!" I whisper yell back.

"Merlin, it's an otter." She says.

"Oh ok." I walk over to the shop owner.

"Excuse me, do you have anything with an otter?" I ask politely.

"What an oddly specific thing to ask. Though, I did get this one necklace let me get it from the back for you." She says before walking into the back.

After a bit she comes back and opens a maroon box and in the box is shows, a gold necklace with an otter charm in the middle.

I smile. "It's perfect, how much?" I say, exited to get it for Hermione.

"It is 500 Gallons."

I quickly pull out the amount of money and accidentally slap it down a bit to hard shocking the shop owner.

"Heh, sorry." I say.

She just smiles and takes the Gallons and puts the necklace into the bag and gives it to me.

"Have a nice day." She waves and Weaslette and I walk out the store.

She punches my arm, "Ow, what was that for?"

"You have good taste Malfoy, I'm sure she'll love it." Weaslette says.

I stare at her skeptical. "I'M SERIOUS!" She yells.

"Yeah, thanks I guess." I say as we walk back to the school.
