Ginny's P.O.V.
After the funeral, I ran up to the dormitories. I saw Hermione chasing after me, but it didn't care. Why did he have to break up with me?
I don't care Voldemort kills me or not. I want Harry. I know that he's trying to the right thing, but it doesn't mean I can't be mad about it. I jump into my bed and begin to sob.
I don't even know if he likes me anymore. He probably thinks of me as Ron's little sister, anyway.
The rest of the term I am disheveled and disheartened. Before I know it, it's time to go home to the Burrow.
Harry, Ron, and Hermione get there own compartment to themselves. They are whispering and all have anxious looks on their faces. I don't know why, but I suddenly realize something. I understand why he broke up with me.
I study him and see his scar burning on forehead. I can tell it's hurting him. I see him trying so hard to ignore it. He has dark circles under his eyes and looks stressed and alone.
Alone. That's the word. He has no family, his godfather died about a year ago, and the person he could confide in and who understood him, Dumbledore, was also dead. He had no one who loved him like a son, no place that he could call home, and the closest thing to a parent he had was Ron and Hermione. His only friends. The only people who believed him. And all the insults that seemed to bang off of him slowly take over him. He had guilt that all the people that died was his fault, it wasn't but he didn't see it that way. And the weight of the whole Wizarding World, probably the whole world was resting upon him. And yet he was 16 years old, not even of age.
The train arrives at Kings Cross. I get off to find my mother, Fred and George, Tonks, Mad-Eye, and Lupin waiting for me. I must have been crying without even knowing it because Fred and George took me to the side and asked me what was wrong.
I told them everything. From beginning to end. Every little detail, and before I knew it I was sobbing into Fred's shoulder. He and George pick me up and carry me. I grab George hand and he apperates to the Burrow. Takes me up to my room and talks to me.
"So Harry just broke up with you for no reason?" Fred asked.
"No. He said Lord Voldemort would kill me because he wants to kill Harry." I told them again.
Fred glanced at George and said, "when he comes here, he's going to have a talking to."
