Chapter 8

Chapter 8: Meeting the boys again, finally

I woke up around 1 pm and looked around. Dammit. It wasn’t a dream. I was actually moved to London. I got up, took a shower and got dressed. I didn’t put on make-up nor did my hair. I was too tired and no one was home, so I didn’t have to look good for anyone.

I looked at my phone. 2 texts. One from Alice and one from Louis.

From: The carrot boy <3

You can come whenever you want, just watch out. Hazza can be walking around kinda naked… We’re all looking forward to you coming ;) <3

From: A <3<3<3

Hey Jen <3 I miss you! Life isn’t the same without you… How are you? <3<3

Why is Harry going around naked? Well it’s Harry… I texted them both back. I brushed my hair and ran out the room and into the kitchen and grabbed some cereal. I looked at the address.

It wasn’t a very long walk from here so I decided to walk. I got out the door and it was freezing! I should have worn more clothes. Oh well… I’ll just run over there.

*the boys apartments*

I knocked the door and I was immediately attacked by a brown-haired boy. Of course it was Louis… I hugged him back gave him a little kiss on the cheek.

“God I’ve missed you! I mean… we all did” he said.

“I’ve missed you guys too” I smiled. “Come on. They are waiting for you!” he said pulling my arm.

“JENNA!” I heard 4 boys scream and got attacked again. We were literally in one big pile and I was at the bottom, trying to get out.

“Hey boys. I’ve missed you too…but could you get of me?”I said trying to get them of me. “Get of me!” I yelled when I realized it was impossible to get out.

“Sorry…” they mumbled trying to stand up. I got up too and brushed off my clothes.

“So why exactly did your family move here?” Harry said after we’ve all sat on the 2 couches. Liam, Niall and Zayn on one and me, Louis and Harry on the other. Me in the middle. I felt so small. I mean I’m only 5, 7 foot so they were all much taller than me.

“Well, my dad got a transferred here, and my mother can work anywhere as long as there is a computer. I didn’t want to move here, but I had to” I sighted.

“But you’re over 18, right? You could just live by yourself” Niall said. He was eating some crisps. Man, that boy can eat. Where does it all go?

“Yeah, but I can’t afford my own apartment yet… And now I need to find a new job here so I can get away from my parents.”

“What about Alice? How is she handling it?” Liam asked. He is so sweet. He is always concerned about others.

“She’s fine. It was hard for her at first but she realized that I could come visit and we could text and skype as often as we could. She would love to come over here and visit me, but she can’t afford it. I wish she could come over here and live with me… We had planned on getting an apartment together, but now that is not gonna happen…” I got tears in my eyes but held them back.

“Why not? You could just move back when you’ve got the money.”

“I know, but my parents won’t allow it. As if they care.”

“Then she could move here” Louis said.

“She doesn’t have the money…”

“But… right” he said looking a bit sad.

“So… What do you guys want to do?” I asked to change the subject before I got all sad.

“Well… Me, Liam, Zayn and Niall where actually on our way out” Harry said.

“Oh… So I guess it’s just you and me, Lou.” I looked him in the eyes. Those beautiful blue eyes. I could look at them forever. I’ve gotten better at eye contact now, finally.

“Yeah” he smiled. He looks so cute. What is the matter with me? He’s a popstar. I can’t fall in love with him!

“Well boys. We gotta go” Liam said. The boys nodded and left. Now it was just me and Louis.

“So what do you want to do?” he asked.

“I don’t know… How about a movie?”

“Good idea. How about a horror movie?!”

“No! I hate scary movies!”

“Don’t worry” he said. “I’ll protect you” I winked at me as he went off to find a movie. Was I really flirting with one fifth of one direction? He got back with two movies. “Saw or paranormal activity?” he held up the movies.

“The least scary, please” I said already sitting on the couch with a carpet over my legs.

“Paranormal activity it is” he said smiling. He put it on and sat down beside me. He put an arm around me and I laid my head on his shoulder. The clock was already 8 and it was raining outside. That just made the movie scarier. I almost jumped every time something scary happened. But Louis just pulled me closer to him. He smells good. Really good in fact. What am I saying? I can’t think like that. He properly already has a girlfriend. I remembered I had read something about him and a girl called Eleanor. I moved away from him a bit and he looked confused at me.

“What is it?”

“Don’t you think your girlfriend would get jealous about you sitting all cuddled up with me?”

“I don’t have one, Jen.”

“Oh… Wait, what about Eleanor?”

“We broke up about a couple of weeks ago…” he said looking down at his hands.

“What happened?”

“I broke up with her, because I think I love someone else” he said looking me deep in the eyes.

“Who?” I asked just as something scary happened in the movie and I hid my face in his shoulder.

“You” he whispered as he put both his arms around me. I couldn't believe it. I moved away from him fast.

“What? Wait what?! Me? Why?! I mean… I have to go” I saidand rushedout of the door.

“Jenna, wait!” he said but I didn’t stop nor looked back. I needed to get away from him. I needed to think. I didn’t know if I was happy or sad.
