You lit up the stars so easily
Something that baffled me for so long
Breaking down my walls and reaching out
Clumsily I, with full hesitation, grasped youThe world suddenly shined around me
Bringing to light how in the dark I was
Days seemed like tireless adventures
Eventually you had led me to heart breakLike a plate shattering, my heart hit ground
Broken down walls rebuilt in an instant
Sand castles at the beach on a summer day
Crumbled longer than my whole heartThe light of the stars begin to flicker
I can see the darkness creeping in
You showed me the stars only for a glance
Left alone at the end with the dim skyI look up the stars, no longer lighting up
Imitating what you did, but it doesn't work
Are the stars broken, a replacement maybe?
Truth is, they won't shine, not without you

Love: All in One
PoesiaA collection of poems about love. It might be a happy love, a sad love, a failed love, a rejected love, unappreciated love or whatever kind it is, when I write about love I'll put it here.
