Kakatapos ko lang mag-breakfast with the girls nang dumating si Uncle Heath, kapatid ni Daddy na doktor or should I say veterinary doctor. I asked help from him for second, third, o kahit one bilyon pang opinions about Harper's condition. May connections kasi siya sa mga doctors dito nationwide so I tried kasi baka may chance pa na maging okay ang mahal ko.

"Hey Uncle. What brings you here?" I asked him after I gave him a fistbump

"There's this really important thing that I want to discuss with you, buddy..." sagot niya kaya na-curious ako

Pati sina Harper at Charlotte parang gusto nang makisali sa usapan.

"About what, Uncle?" saling-pusa ni Charlotte

"It's so important, baby. Sorry if I won't be able to tell you. Ravey, shall we go to your office?" niyaya niya ako to be somewhere private

"Sure po. Let's go..." sabi ko and then we head to my office

Maliit lang siya na office compared to Dad's kasi ngayon pa lang din naman ako naging presidente ng isang kompanya. When I was working as a lawyer, firm kami eh and I was with my blockmates so medyo hindi spacious.

Nung nasa loob na kami ng office ko ay may inabot si Uncle Heath na puting sobre sa akin.

"What's this? Cash?" nagbiro pa ako

"Nope but I'm pretty sure you'll be happy once you found out what's inside..." sabi niya at 'yung nasa marumi kong isip ay 'yung pregnancy test kit ba 'yun

Baka buntis si Harper?

Binuksan ko 'yung sobre at may puting papel sa loob. Tinignan ko pa si Uncle kasi biglang lumakas 'yung pintig ng puso ko. Dang.

"Read it..." sabi ni Uncle at nakuha niya pang ngumiti sa akin

Binasa ko 'yung nakasulat. Bawat salita ay inintindi ko at bawat basa at pa-lakas din nang pa-lakas 'yung heartbeat ko.

Naiintindihan ko naman ang mga nakasulat pero ayoko pang basahin 'yung last paragraph. Pakiramdam ko kasi nasa last paragraph palagi yung either masaya at masakit na salita. I don't know. Maybe I'm just weird.

Last paragraph na and goodness gracious this is so nerve-wrecking.

This goes to show that Ms. Harper Margareth Fernandez is cleared from the illness and is no longer suffering any form or type if leukemia.

Whatever or whosoever created or diagnosed the patient wrongly will be held liable for the falsehood. Judicial charges will be file against the parties involved.

Literal na naiyak ako. Niyakap ko si Uncle and I am sobbing real hard.

"I seek help from all the doctors here in our country, bud. There's this friend of mine who knows and have connections sa mga doctors sa states. Your Dad and I have been talking the past few days as well and have hired some private investigators. We kind of have a possible suspect behind all these. Told you, bud. You're not alone in this battle. Venerezas are one team..." sabi ni Uncle sabay tapik ng likuran ko habang mangiyak-ngiyak pa rin ako

Ang lakas ko maka-drama king ngayon pero whatever. I'm just so happy right now.

Agad akong lumabas ng office at tumungo sa kung saan man si Harper. When I found her at the porch, I kissed her right away. 'Yung torrid. 'Yung laplap kung laplap.

"Are you okay?" agad niyang tanong pagkatapos 'nung kiss

"Someone has been playing games with us. You're not sick, precious angel. You are totally fine..." sabi ko at halatang hindi siya makapaniwala sa sinabi ko

"Wha...what?! Who told you? Love, who told youuu?!" tanong niya pero hinalikan ko siya ulit

"Just shut up for now, angel. Let me kiss the hell out of you..." sabi ko

Kung sino man 'yung ugok na may pakana ng lahat ng 'to, naudlot 'yung plano niya. I will fucking hunt him.
