Jeongguk held his daughter close to him as she softly touched the tomb of her mother. "I miss her, daddy," she said as he voice broke various in times in her small statement, " who's gonna play with me? Who's gonna read me bedtime stories? Who gonna stay with me at night?" She continued to questioned. 

" I will, sweetheart," Eun jung removed herself from her father's side and looked at him. Her eyes where just like his, they can only be described as Bambi eyes. All big and wide, her eyes shined with the tears. 

" But daddy isn't home that much," for a five year old, she was smart and was well aware that Jeongguk had plenty of work that required him to stay late. He came around seven or eight at night but that was when Eun Jung had her bedtime. He didn't see her as much, he only had the weekends to make up for lost time but even then, she would cling to her mother the most. 

Eun jung's mom was more of an at home mom, she cooked and cleaned. Her job was more graphic design. She had her business meeting during early morning or late at night, to discuss her designs to companies that needed to rebrand themselves or needed a logo or design of some kind, that's what gave her the upper hand in being more present in their daughter's life. 

"Daddy got a new job," he referred himself to third person since it made Eun Jung understand him more clearly and his wife use to do it as well, "Daddy will spend more time with you, alright?" 

Eun Jung lightly patted the flowers she had in her hand and dropped ever so carefully in the tombstone, "Promise?" 

Jeongguk was all Eun Jung had. 

She wasn't much of a social child but she showed great affection more so to her mother. 

" Daddy promises," he gave her his pinky so that she could interlock it with her chubby pinkie finger.
