In the previous chapter , I was potentially on the verge of getting fired.
I was offered a ride to their headquarters form the hotel form their side. I liked that as it was convenient for me.
When I arrived at the head quarters of FC Sydney United , my welcome was simply amazing. I was offered a some juice , some snacks , there was a leather seat dedicated only for me. I was wonderful.
My heart was beating , was this a way just to fire me , I thought !
The meeting began. The new president greeted me. His name was ALEX JOHNSTONE. " I beleive you are the new coach of our team "
" Yes that is correct "
" Okay good to know , I would want to speak to you alone in my office in 10 minutes"
"Sure sir"
My heart rate increased by over 10 times I'm sure !
That 10 minutes has been the longest 10 minutes ever. It felt like there a huge mountain to come !
Sir ALEX JOHNSTONE called me over to his office. He immediately told me that he wasn't going to fire me. He told me that he saw some of my games in KC United and he thought that I would fit really well in the team. He also mentioned that he would give me a an entire season to get my self adjusted to my players and Australian football.
I thought in my mind - wow this is everything I can ever ask for !
At the end of the meeting he told me not to worry about underperforming in the start. He said it would be okay to take your time to fit it. He said that he believes in me
He offered me a trip to The Opera House which is 9 minute drive form my hotel !
I thanked him much !
Okay so you might be wondering , why this chapter is named " THE SYDNEY OPERA HOUSE " well this is part one of chapter 8. Part 2 will be out shortly !
