Is a story that does a full circle and comes back to the beginning.

Is an ending whereby you see the characters growth throughout the novel and how far they had come.

The Surprise Ending

Is where the story takes us to a place we least expect.

Leaves the reader feeling emotional, whether it be happy or sad, for the characters and the story.

The Reflection Ending

When the characters look back on everything they've achieved, experienced and gone through.

Leaves the Reader laughing at a line, or perhaps an inside joke to the story.

Is an ending that leaves the reader wondering what's going to happen next.

Is an ending that puts the 'show don't tell' rule to good use and describes a scene.

Is an ending that ends with dialogue from the character.
