"Mother! Where is Grandma's ring?" Shouted at the top of Ada's lungs on the morning of July 23rd. Not a very pleasant way to awake, but I do need to get ready for the fun-packed day of my sister's wedding. I slowly extracted myself from the much-needed warmth of my bed and prepared for the day both mentally and physically. Getting into plain clothes, I'll put the formal outfit on when I need to if Ada doesn't cancel before I get the chance.

Apparently no-one can find the ring it has been an hour, we sorta need to find it. Julia said she gave it to Dave, he has no recollision of the interaction. No surprise really, the only thing he remembers is where the closest bar is and their specials.

"Alex, why arent you dressed. The wedding starts in two hours" once again awoken by my sisters' screech, this time in my left ear, while I was lying comfortably on the couch in the back room.

"A, we have two hours, that's why I'm not dressed as of yet" she was not pleased by my answer and let me know

"Get your arsed dressed in the next twenty minutes or so help me god you will never reproduce!" I don't think anyone has ever moved so fast in our family, well I haven't.

I messed up, as in I'll never live this down. So I didn't get dressed within the next twenty minutes and just avoided where Ada was. The ring still wasn't found until thirty-six minutes before the beginning, when I put on my suit. It was in my left lapel pocket, in the box still.

Ada, Julia, nor my mother were very impressed with my discovery, just pissed.

"Alex, we asked you where the ring was" Julia began, boy am I in for it now.

"You told me specifically that the ring was never in your possession" Ada continued, now for the beast of my mother to attack.

"And you always had it, but you never knew" Mother finished, not as bad as I expected, they all are probably more worried about he wedding in twenty-nine minutes.

"They probably did know just forgot, not that I would be surprised" Dave just had to swoop in and make that remark, didn't he.
