Girl's Version
Day 1:
He sat at the back, hands empty, without a single book
The only thing he had was a villainous look
I was scared to even look up at his face
Uff! He keeps staring at me, what a disgrace!
Day 2:
Today he walked in wearing a blue shirt
Oh God! It seriously matches with my skirt
I just hope no one makes fun of me
I don't want me and him to become 'We'
Day 3:
He had a fight with the boy next to him
Ugh! This guy has now got a limp
Why can't he be like all the other guys?
Why can't he be just plain nice?
Day 4:
I can't find him, where is he?
Is he on leave today or just gone for a pee?
I swung around to ask my buddy about the absentee
and there he was, right behind, staring at me!
Guys Version
Day 1:
Is that just a girl or is she an angel?
She looks like a glistening pearl in a shell
I just can't stop staring at her
With her in front, everything else is just a blur.
Day 2:
How to impress her, I didn't have a clue
That's when her friend told me she would be wearing blue
I wore the best shirt that I could find
All the while, praying she would like it, in my mind
Day 3:
The guy next to me spoke bad about my girl
That's when my fist rolled up into a curl
I have now got a limp and my shirt all torn
But what hurt more was her face with a scorn
Day 4:
I sat right behind her today
I smiled as she looked around at where I sat yesterday
Slowly she turned behind after a while
Only to be greeted by my big wide smile!
