"What would we shapeshift into?" Cry asked the mage.
"Anything that could breathe underwater I guess."
"I volunteer as tribute." Ziegs spoke up.
"What?" Cry asked.
"I'll be the one that goes down there for you."
"Fine with me." Cry said. "Any objections."
"Nope." Snake responded while shaking his head.
"Nah." Cheyenne said.
"Not a problem with me either." Russ said.
"Well I guess that means Ziegs gets to do it." Cry said.
"Hmm... Oh! I know what to turn her into." Jund said while staring into the water.
"What?" Ziegs asked.
"A squid."
"Why a squid?" Snake asked.
"Well squids can use their tentacles to grab things and if there is anything in there Ziegs can use ink."
"I see." Snake said.
"Well. Get into the water." Jund instructed.
Ziegs hopped in, making a splash. She waded at the top.
"Alright, ready."
Jund waved his hand and Ziegs turned into a Squid.
Ziegs went down into the water. It was surprisingly large for a watering hole. There was even caves underneath the ground that couldn't be seen from up top.
She swam around but couldn't find anything.
It was no luck. She swam back up to the top. Her head poked out of the water.
Jund turned Ziegs back into a human. She climbed out of the water and back onto he ground.
"Did you find it?" Russ asked.
"No. There was nothing in there."
"Did you check everywhere?" Cry asked.
"Of course. Why wouldn't I?"
"Well, the sun is starting to go down," Scott interrupted "We should rest here."
"Yeah, I could use a meal and rest." Cheyenne said.
"To the inn!" Russ shouted.
