Chapter 11: The Truth

RING! Went the bell as we raced into the forest. I was on all fours like a wolf. Everyone else was behind me. I guessed their leader Maverick would stay back and let his goons take out everyone. "Instead of me going to him let's wait until he come to me. I will watch the others and see what I need to fix." I thought as I followed Mike without him knowing. They came a clearing in the forest Mike stepped out of the forest. Suddenly lightning struck from where he was standing. Mike nearly missed being hit! "Well it looks like the nerd hassle it this far." Nick said he was the guy with lightning. "Now you will die you little maggot." Nick sneered Mike pulled out a wrist band and put it on. "Oh oh it's a worst band I am dead!" Nick mocked Mike pressed a button on the band and it came to life. Metal came out of no where cascading his hands and chest. It resembled a half made iron man. No sooner did Mike do this he was struck by lightning. I smiled inside the lightning stood Mike not even burned. "Wha what that's not possible!" He shrieked " you see this machine takes pure energy or in your case lightning and makes it into something else" Mike said "well I will just have to hit you harder." He said as he kept shooting lightning at him. Mike was shooting water in different places. He got the Nick wet too. "Ewww now my cloths are wet!" He yelled Nick looked like scoobydoo had vomited and then was sprayed wet. "I would not use your lightning again" Mike said "shut up!" Nick screamed blood chains pulsing. Nick used his powers and electrocuted him self! "Nice move shooting water everywhere so he would get shocked" I though. A ding went off that meant that someone was put of the games. Just them I smelled smoke I raced over to see what was up. It we Elizabeth and Clara fighting back to back. I stayed back in the trees and observed. Elizabeth was shooting water as Jason the flame boy while Clara was exchanging fierce blows with Zack the guy with super strength. Jason's fire was wining in the fight between water. "What's the matter to hot for yah." He spoke with confidence. His fire won the battle as Elizabeth went flying backwards she looked burned badly. I turned to see Clara was losing too. Zack punched her back to where Elizabeth was. "I don't think I can keep this up much longer." Clara said while wiping some blood away from her face. "How about we switch partners" Elizabeth inquired "let's do it!" Clara said as the ran towards the opposite people . Clara was closing in fast on her target Jason. He kept shooter fireballs at her but she kept dodging it. He shot two fireballs in her direction "she can't doge those" I though. She took out her katana and cut the fireballs in half as she did a front flip and kicked Jason in the face. A other bell went off. Jason was out Clara turned to see Elizabeth fooling Zach with her invisibility. "Over here" she teased as Zack looked back and forth. Finally Elizabeth showed herself a few feet away from him. He came in running only to fall on his back. She had sprayed water on the ground and turned into ice. She walked over to the dazed boy and said "tough luck." As she kicked his face knocking him out. The bell rang out signaling that there was only one person left. "Ok show your face." I thought as I ran through the forest. I went to the other side of the arena where the other castle was. I saw him inside looking at me. He had blood running down his face as if he had taking a beating. "The guy in the suit" I thought as I opened the door into the castle. That was probably one of the worst moves I could make. As soon as I stepped in I hard something falling a huge log was coming at me. "Awww crap!" I said as it hit me in the face sending me backwards into a huge tiny hole. I hit the bottom with a loud smack."last time I do that" I said as I got my bearings back. The hole was about 20 feet tall I used my claws to get out. When I got out and looked back at the castle. In front of it was the whole school tied up and held gun point it was Maverick. He's gone insane his goons were back and looked different. "Hahaha! You see I run the shoots not you. Haahah lets see if you can save everyone without them knowing about your little secret!" He yelled my team was there to. Holding my self back I said " I doesn't have to be like this. You can stop and we can all go home." I said "NEVER NOT WHEN PEOPLE LIKE YOU HAVE ALL OF THE POWER. THE PEOPLE UP TOP PROMISED ME THAT I COULD HAVE EVEN BETTER POWER IF I KILLED YOU. THEY GAVE US THIS AS A GIFT!" He yelled as he took out an syringe and shot him self. He started shaking and then he flew up into the sky. "No way!" I thought as he hovered back down to where he was. I guessed that his goons also got the injection as well. He carelessly stroked the principle's cheek affectingly. That's it!" I thought as I changed into my wolf form. In a flash I was behind Maverick His cocky grin turned into fear. His skin was pale as he turned around slowly. With teeth bared I thrusted my claws into his spine ripping it out. He clasped on the ground. I turned to the goons who knew their fate was sealed. I might have let my animal side out a little to much. One of then tried to fly away I pounced on him in the air. I snapped his neck and ripped off his arm. I threw the arm on Nick's face I heard a snap as his nose was broken. I leaped off of the falling carcass and turned to the last goon. I started walking slowly towards him. Nick was crying as blood gushed from the wound. I made quick work with him. I grabbed Zach's throat and crushed it. I turned to see my friends eyes wide with shock. I freed all of them from the ropes that bonded them. I went over to Maverick he was barely alive. I kneeled down to hear what he was saying. "You think you have won. They will find you now that you have passed the test. you power is special." He gurgled as blood gushed out of his mouth and with that he was dead. "What does he mean I passed" I thought but I was interrupted by the principal coughing. "Oh boy I have got some explaining to do." I thought as I walked over to my school.
