Today is the day! The day that I leave Australia! I'm leaving Australia to go to school in the United States, and I'm beyond excited! I'm Raine and I'm from Australia, more specifically Brisbane, Australia. It's 6:45 o'clock in the morning and I just woke up because my flight is at 9 and I need to get ready. I get out of bed and head for the shower, grabbing a towel. I turn the water on and wash my hair and body. I'm in the shower for about 15 minutes and then I get out, and go to my room to pick out an outfit (whatever you want to wear.) I put my hair in a messy bun because I'm going to be sitting in a plane all day. Once I'm done getting dressed it's about 7:15 so I go downstairs and make myself toast for breakfast. After I'm done eating I go upstairs and wash my face and brush my teeth. I go to my room grab my suitcase and call an Uber to come pick me up. I go say goodbye to my family and walk outside to wait for the Uber to get here.
Once I get to the airport I go through security and go to get some coffee. Once I get my coffee they call my gate and I walk to the gate to board my plane. Once I get on the plane I find my seat, sit down and put my AirPods in, and listen to some music. About an hour into the flight I fell asleep.
I get woken up but the captain saying that we are about to land so I get all my stuff gathered.
Once I get off the plane I go and text my aunt that I am here. I go and get my luggage and walk towards the exit to try and find my aunt.
I walk out the airport and immediately I see her so I run up to her and give her a big hug
( Raine's aunt is named Delilah, and Raine is staying with her while she's in America.)
Raine- Aunt Delilah!!!
Delilah- Raine! How have you been?
Raine- Great!
Delilah-How was your flight?
Raine- Good! I slept most of it.
Delilah- Are we ready to get going?
Raine- Yes ma'am
Delilah brings you to her car, you put your luggage in the trunk and get it the passenger seat. Delilah starts driving and the ride home you guys talk about Australia.
