Chapter 18
So I didn't end up asking Bianca what wanted to ask her, because I found out how late it was on my way there and decided to just forget about it and tell her today, which is tomorrow if I were in yesterday.
I opened my locker and most of my books spilled out.
Just great.
I just remembered about this, yesterday I was in such a bad mood so when I was searching for my Physics textbook, I kind of destroyed my locker...
I looked around to see if anyone saw what just happened, luckily no one saw it, so I bent down and packed all my books together picking out the ones I need and stuffing the rest in my locker.
I seriously have to fix that up.
Only the thought if cleaning up my locker made me go back to my depressed mood.
Right now, I hate my life, I should have just stayed in Nigeria, it far better over there, and if I eventually go back to Nigeria, I can tell all my friends that I have white friends now, I'd be like ' ya, and now I've got white friends, their so nice and friendly and you know they didn' t even think I was lying to them when I told them the truth '... Okay I think that' s a little bit, too much information.
I slammed my looker shut- it comes with the mood -earning a few stares from people around me, I just looked at them with a 'mind your own business' look.
I walked in the direction of my homeroom, and just then this blonde bumped right into me, like what the hellz.
When I say blonde, don't think I mean cheerleader with a short ass skirt, she looked like the complete opposite of that, she wore, a huge shirt that was two sizes bigger than her and sweatpants, who does that, her blonde her was held up high in a messy bun... a very messy bun... a very very messy bun... a very very very- I think you guys get my point, the bun was messy, and she looked at me quite surprised as she adjusted her huge black glasses, she looked tired of life, like me.
She just glances at my face and walked away, she didn't even say sorry, what the actual fuck.
I took a step forward but stopped at the feel of something solid under my feet.
I bent down and picked up the pink book, I observed the pink hard cover of the book before opening the book.
" Paige Wilson " I read out from the first page of the book, I laughed to myself.
Paige, sounds like page, ha ha ha ha ha.
The sound of the warning bell made me jump, but just a little, I dropped the book in my bag, before running off to homeroom.
◽◾◽◾◽◾◽The bell rang for lunch break, so I quickly stood up from my seat and raced out of the class with the other students.
I ran to my locker and exchanged my books, before shutting it back and running to the library.
I just want to avoid talking to anyone right now. I found a vacant table and sat at it dropping my blue binder on the table and my bag on the chair beside me.
I did some homework before placing my head on the table gently and closed my eyes to sleep.
Ah, sweet sweet sleep.
The library is the best place to sleep in school for me, it's always quiet and guess what, the librarian likes me, so if I'm bored I can just go have a little chat with her, she young and pretty, and a very good listener, just like Rico, what he said yesterday really helped, that's true I haven't asked Bianca yet, I should probably go do that.
I raised my head from the table and glanced at my side, because of the presence I felt beside me.
" why are you here Summer " I asked turning my gaze back to the table as I picked up the books that lay there one by one, and placing them in my bag.
" I thought we were friends now " she said, I looked at her in surprise.
" I know you don't want to be friends and you just want to talk to me cause you believe Andrew talks to me, but guess what, he doesn't talk to me any more, so you don't need to stress yourself " she had a hurt look on her face.
" no, I actually want to be friends with you, I realised how mean U was being and decided to talk to you, to be friends with you and I- "
" wait wait wait " I said cutting her off " aren't you supposed to be in the cafeteria "
" you do know that I actually don't have any other friend, besides you and Andrew "
" ya, so why don't you go talk with Andrew and not me , because your friends with Andrew and Andrew is related to Reesha, and I don't want to have anything to do with Reesha, so of your friends with him your friends with Reesha, because that dude is Reesha's cousin and he is on Reesha's side " I said to her, she looked at me in silence and then looked above my head like someone was there.
" is that what you think of me " I shook in surprise at the sound of the male voice behind me, I turned to look at Andrew standing there, in a white shirt black jeans and a black leather jacket.
I threw my head back in annoyance " why do you guys have to make everything so dramatic " I whined and looked at him.
" ya that's what I think of, I mean why wouldn't I think that, first you say you believe what I said to Reesha and then all of a sudden, BOOM, your not talking to me because your, almighty cousin, Reesha said so " I said taking a deep breath.
" you guys don't know how much I hate this place " I got up carried my bag and binder and walked out.
I hate this fucking country.
