Chapter 31: Together

 I fall to my knees in exhaustion then turn to my comrades.

"Guys-" I was cut off with Hoseok and Taehyung hugging me tightly. The others joined too. The other Grim began to clap as we are reunitd, together, finally. Jin carried an unconscious Namjoon. "Oops, my bad."

"Damn f/n you really knocked him out cold, but thank you for saving him." Jin smiled as he set Namjoon gently on the ground and hugged me.

"I didn't know I saved him, I just felt his energy fading, so I stopped him."

"He was doing an ability that would eliminate all his enemies, but it would kill him in the process," Jungkook explained and hugged me tightly.

I lost you once, and I almost lost Namjoon, I can't lose the people I love dearly. 

Jungkook's somber tone echoes in my head. I nodded to him. Yoongi put his fist up expecting me to bump it.

"Don't need to be so cold, you know you want to." I taunted as I opened my arms for a hug. He gave in and gave a tight hug. "Even though I haven't got time to know you, you're really cool." Jimin gracefully makes his way over to me. "Are you dancing now?"

"Yes because it helps me express my emotions." He explained as he held his arms out and spun into a hug. A smile crept on my face as his featheres ruffled.  I see Taehyung behind him, beaming a smile.

"Tae"

"Noona!" he said with a baby-like voice. His cries were rather hammy and dramatic. I patted his head. After a could of head pats, I see Namjoon stir as He held his head from the impact.

"What happened?" he asked and then saw me. He sprang up and tackled me into a hug. We rolled down the hill a little before he held me tight.

"I thought I lost you y/n." He said.

"Namjoon this is great and all, but I can't breath," I said as he laid on top of me.

"Oh sorry." He apologized and helped me up, not letting go. The Grim all gathered in celebration.

"Now what? We are all together. We didn't lose anyone did we?" Jisoo asked

"Wait.. we all saw y/n die, what happened?" Han asks as everyone looked to me.

"Life exchanged her life for me. She gave me her powers so I could defeat Death and take his powers as well. Being among the faded isn't the most pleasant experience." I explained.

"Wait if you are life and death...then you're-" Lisa asked

"A FUCKING GODDESS!" Felix jumps in the air.

"Not only that but the leader of the grim and angels." Namjoon realized. Everyone bowed down in front of me.

"Oh please, the formalities are weird," I said and made them rise.

There was light as a woman and man in white clothing  came down. They were like us grim, but not as hybrid-like us. They only had wings. The woman had tropical parot wings, while the man had the wings of a wasp.

"Who are you?" I asked

"We are angels that are part of the head council. We served the lady of light, we are here to serve you next. I am Taemin, and this is Jieun" he points to the woman next to him.

"Please don't call me any fancy name, just y/n is fine. If there is any business that needs to be done, can it wait, my team and I are exhausted" I explained?

"Why are you asking us? You're our leader. " Jieun laughed. I laughed at my stupidity. Taemin and Jieun flew off back to the light realm as I looked back to the grim.

"Please everyone, some of the laws we have are a little messy, I promise I'll get things more organized. For now, every grim who had a battle today get's time to rest, let's say 3 months. Is that alright?" everyone nodded.

"I'll assign groups to places to take our work." Chan volunteered. We all thanked him and went home. As soon as we all went to the portal, we crashed on the couches in the family room and turned to our grim form. My talons slowly turned back to feet and my wide retracted. I rubbed my face as the small baby feathers peaked in between my fingers.

"Man being in hybrid form that long really took a  toll on me" Hoseok cracked his neck. It was silent as we all rested there for a moment. Peace and quiet. No demons, no bad energy, no work, just us together. I sat up and sighed, "Now what?"

"Well, you're in charge of both the realms now. You might need some help with that." Namjoon said.

"I'm not talking about work things, we are together, we survived." I clarified.

"I'm thankful to have you guys." Hoseok smiled.

"When I killed myself as a human, after I burned to death...I didn't expect myself to like my fire until the heat of battle. Thanks for helping me cope with this. I think my nightmares will stop soon." Yoongi said as he played with a little ball of fire in his hands. His comment made me smile.

"I can take over as leader of the Grim, but me doing it with the angels is going to be hard. I am scared of that. I want to find a successor who can carry out it better than me. But in the meantime, I am happy to lead you all. You guys can continue doing your Grim work while I work behind the scenes making everything in order." I said.

"Can't we help you?" Jungkook asked

"It's just The Grim Alliance without you is just not that same."

"Heh, before you came we were the Bulletproof Boyscouts...what a silly name" Jin laughed.

"That sounds so angsty...but badass" Yoongi laughed

"I don't think it's silly, it suits you guys. You can do that when I am leading." I say

"y/n here is what's up....YOU ARE THE MISSING POINT!" Taehyung said.

"We are not seven with you." Jimin smiles

"Let us walk together," Jin said. I began to cry.

"We as the Grim Alliance will rule these domains the best we can. We will protect souls and prevent events, like what we survived, from ever happening again." I proclaimed.

That's right, we are together, and forever, working as The Grim Alliance
