Aro's Mate

Chapter Six

He reaches down and grabs my hand, he brings it up and kisses it. I smile at him and he doesn't let go of my hand. We continue to walk through the library holding hands as he shows me around this huge library. I point out books I've read and we bond over the ones we have both read.

"You're a nerd" I elbow him lightly trying to joke around. He looks over and laughs.

"You're the nerd, I've been around 3 thousand years and you have read almost as many books as me" he says and elbows me back and we laugh together. His laugh is something I have never heard before. It's almost psychotic sounding but I like that he isn't afraid to let it all out, he's so open and wild. I've never been one to live like this. I'm shy and reserved but in the past few days I've felt so much happier being around someone with a chaotic side, and I think I love it. I squeeze Aro's hand and he squeezes back.

"What are you thinking about?" Aro asks and I pull my hand away quickly.

"Wait you already know don't you" I say and put my hand on my hip trying to look upset when I really think it's kind of cute.

"I told you my love, I will never use my power to get into your mind without you knowing, it's and invasion of privacy." He grabs my hand again with both of his hands and faces me. He looks me in the eyes and kisses my hand. Our eyes never leave eachothers and I get goosebumps.

"I promise, my Amelia, I will never lie to you". I get on my tiptoes and kiss him on the cheek, he smiles softly.

"I want to show you something." Still holding my hand he leads me through the castle and doesn't say a word, he's kind of walking fast but I keep up.

"Where are we going?" I ask and he looks over and smiles.

"It's a surprise." My mind goes crazy as I have no idea where we are going, I don't know whether to be nervous or excited. After walking over halfway across the castle we get to some doors with windows that lead outside and I smile wide.

"The garden we went through on the tour! It was so beautiful, I'd love to walk through it with you!" I say excitedly

"That's not what I want to show you." He leads me out and we are under an awning, it's a gorgeous sunny day and I close my eyes to feel the heat. I open them and Aro is taking off his shirt, I blush and look away even though I really want to look at him. Out of the corner of my eye I notice he is walking out from under the awning.

"Amelia I want you to see what I look like in the sunlight." I slowly turn around and what I see is beyond anything I have ever seen in my whole life, his skin is sparkling like one million diamonds. I am speechless and I slowly walk forward. I can see the definition in his chest and he has abs, my mouth is wide open as I look at him.

"It's amazing." I walk closer to him and reach my hand out to touch him but look at him first for approval, he nods and I put my hand on his muscular shoulder, his skin is still cold but so soft and beautiful in this light. I continue to touch down his arm and my hand moves over to his abs, I slide my hand up so it glides over his chest and I end on his neck and look up at him, he was watching me.

"Enjoying yourself?" he smirks and I blush.

"I've just never seen anything like it, I don't even know what to say."

He grabs my hand "then tell me like this." He pulls me close to him so my face goes almost into his chest as he begins to read my thoughts. I don't even know what I'm thinking but he laughs and squeezes my hand.

"This mind of yours is quite bold, you should say what you're thinking more often, no need to be shy." He lets go of my hand but I don't step away from his chest, I reach my arms around him and press my cheek to him. Even though his skin is cold I feel warm with him, he wraps his arms around me and we sway in the sun holding eachother. He finally breaks the hug and takes my hand.

"Let's walk." We continue to walk through the garden and he keeps his shirt off and I am completely fine with that.

We walk for about half an hour just laughing and talking, I tell him about my world back home and the few friends I had, I tell him about school and past boyfriends, and girlfriend, he seems to like that part. He listens to me as I ramble on about so many things, trying to open up more and not seem as shy. We come to a bench under a flower archway and we sit. He puts an arm around me and I lean against him.

"These past couple days have been amazing, Aro. It is not at all what I expected to happen but I'm glad it did." I pause and then look up at him. "Aro, I love you." He gasps and smiles and then kisses me.

"I love you too, la mia principessa, forever and always." He strokes my hair and then kisses me again, this time I hold the kiss and I reach over and put my hand on his chest. We continue to kiss and it turns into making out, I open my mouth and he lets his tongue go inside just a bit. I smile against his lips and rub his chest. I get confident and decide to put my leg over him so I am now straddling his lap while making out. He grunts and kisses me harder, pulling me close to him. I run my hands through his long hair and he does the same to me. He then moves his hands down so they are on my thighs and he rubs them. After a minute he starts sqeezing them kind of hard and starts making out rougher.

"Ow" he is squeezing my legs so hard I might have bruises. He pulls away quickly and pushes me off of him.

"I- I'm so sorry, my love" he backs away and then turns and runs away, he is gone in seconds and I'm alone. Seconds later Demetri appears. I really underestimated their vampire speed.

"Master Aro apologizes for running off, he needs some alone time. I will escort you to his quarters, he is out hunting." I walk alongside Demetri back through the garden feeling guilty, I shouldn't have pushed him like that, I knew he wouldn't be able to control himself.

"Wait, doesn't he usually have his meals brought to him?" I look over at Demetri.

"Yes, but rarely the Kings like to go out and do it themselves, a vampire needs the hunt every now and then." He explains and I nod.

We get back to the room and I walk inside, closing the door. I sigh and sit on the bed feeling bad and lonely, all I want is to be held by Aro right now, but because of me he is out hunting. I lay down and soon fall asleep.
