What happened?
Solbi opened her eyes confused, along with everyone else. They were still inside of the game.
"Solbi, what's happening?" Skye's head moved quickly back and forth to take a look around. "It's a five-night game, isn't it?"
"It should be over by now. We aren't supposed to be here," Song shook his head in panic. "I'm supposed to be with Jin, I promised I'd see him after this was all over."
"How are we still here...?" Solbi's tears remained as they did.
Chaeah stared up at her boyfriend, whose face seemed blank. "Are we home?"
"No, we are still inside the game. I thought this would happen since it stays true to the original game," Jungkook explained. "But I don't know what will happen tonight."
"You never—you never told me about a sixth night. You continue to keep important things from me, aren't we in this together? After we've lost all of our friends...our family?" Chaeah asked.
"There are things here you aren't meant to understand. We survived because we didn't dare to find out those truths."
"Are you serious? All they wanted was to get out of this game you trapped all of us in!"
"And they left, didn't they? Maybe not in the best way, but they got what they wanted in the end,' Jungkook stood up. "Let's see how this night turns out."
Song paced back and forth, "There has to be some way to get out of here. I can't stand it anymore, I want to be free of this."
"Calm down, it's one more night. We can handle one more night here," Skye said. "We just have to make sure Jungkook and Chaeah can."
"Maybe we should go sit with them," Solbi walked over to the security room and the two followed, sitting around the office desks.
Jungkook was staring at the computer screen, seeing no activity from anywhere. "Nothing is happening, it must be broken."
"Broken could be exactly what we need. Do you think I want to deal with those murderous monsters? I just want you to be safe," Chaeah admitted, causing Jungkook to turn around to face her.
"I know you do. Here in the office, we can be safe. Come here," he pulled her into the chair next to him, but she only crawled into his lap to bring their embrace closer. His hand brushed down her hair, and he could only stare.
"Why is he acting so weird?" Skye asked. "Is he possessed or something? He's acting completely different than usual."
"No that can't be right, that's not how possession works here—or at least I don't think so," Solbi tried to figure it out too. None of it is making any sense.
"Jungkook, is something wrong with you? I know this might sound like a silly question after everything we have been through here...but you aren't yourself," Chaeah sighed.
"I am exhausted. I have been continuously working here," Jungkook wiped the sweat from his temple. "It's almost a relief we have nothing else to do here."
Chaeah brushed the hair from out of his face, giving his lips a small kiss. "I can tell you've been tired. That explains why you've been acting so grumpy I guess."
Jungkook pulled her closer, "I guess."
"I can take your mind off of this. Why don't we go over some old happy memories? Like when we all met one another for the first time in that old studio?" Chaeah asked with a smile.
"God, I remember," Solbi laughed. "I used to watch old videos of us from back then and we looked so young."
Song hummed, "we had no idea back then what would happen between us all."
