Enjoy<3There were so many possible meanings in one sentence. My mind thought of the possible meanings of this particular sentence.
I looked at William dumbfounded, who had his eyebrows up in question and I saw his Adam's apple bob as if he was nervous.
Why was he nervous?
I looked back and forth between William and Aristotle, who was still holding on to the string. I didn't know how to say it. But I believed actions spoke louder than words.
So I grabbed his head and kissed him. Hard. And when I was about to pull away, he held me back and kissed me in a way that aroused all the other sensations I never knew I had.
"Does this answer your question?" I asked as we parted.
"Oh, hell yeah," he said before kissing me again.

We drove back home in silence but I saw William stealing looks from me, every once in a while, with Aristotle sleeping in the back seat.
It was a little after midnight and the house was completely dark. We both strode in quietly, Aristotle now fully awake and went on his search for his friend. We both walked upstairs and got in my room.
"I have something for you, go freshen up and then I'll show you," William said.
"Come on now, you already gave me so much," I huffed out.
"It was nothing," he replied.
I took a quick shower, brushing my teeth in the process before I dried myself. I went to reach for my clothes, only to find they weren't there.
I opened my bathroom door slowly but it still creaked like a lousy bitch grabbing William's attention.
"Hey, you done already? Oh my god, why are you not dressed?" He snapped his head back when he saw me in my towel.
I laughed at his reaction but nevertheless took some comfy dresses from my cupboard and went back to the bathroom. When I came back I saw William still sitting in his previous position.
"I'm done," I called out. William looked at me slowly as if he thought I was lying. I mean I could have been and wearing a lingerie or something. Too bad I don't shop for those stuffs. Now I thought it could have come in handy.
I sighed before lying on the bed and looked at William.
"So what else did you get for me?"
"I don't know if you will like it or not-"
"Just show it already," I asked like an impatient child.
"Fine, but don't say I didn't warn you," he said before bending and taking something from under the bed.
"This is so sick," I said getting up and taking the guitar from him. It was an acoustic one, with an ombre shade of black fading into brown. It had a small 'W' written with ink on the left corner.
"It was mine, you know, I loved playing it," he sighed.
"Now, how did I not know you played guitar?" I asked.
He just shrugged before saying, " I really wanted to give you a new one, but I knew leaving some money and a note would not be enough when buying a guitar so-"
"Will you teach me?" I questioned.
"Were you listening?"
"Yeah, and I still think it's cool that I have something you owned before," I said smiling like an idiot.
William just smiled back and crossed over to kiss me softly on the lips.
"Thank you," he breathed out.
"I should be the one thanking you for doing all this," I said.
"No, you don't," he sighed, "You know, sometimes I feel like what would it be like if I were still alive. How would have I met you? I could have taken you to ideal dates and be the perfect boyfriend who would be there whenever you need me and-" he had tears in his eyes by that point and I couldn't see him like that.
I slowly climbed on his lap and shushed him,
"You're the definition of perfect, Will. I can't describe perfect without thinking of you first. As for being my boyfriend, I'm so glad, since I had to be the jealous girlfriend if you were not a Spirit," I air quoted at the end as William laughed a little.
But deep down I knew even if whatever I said was true, that's what I wished for.
I wished for William to be living. But not as a spirit.
