Warning!!!!! Some triggers of assault!
I tapped on the floor and watched the wall across from me. The single glass wall peering into the hallway that connected all the cells.
"Stop tapping you are driving me insane." I smirked at the voice on the other side of the wall I was leaning against. I look into the hallway and see his shadow sitting against the wall. It took a while before he would speak to me, but as he became bored, he found a muse on my side of the wall.
"Yes, your majesty." Sarcasm laced my tone and he scoffed.
"Thank you, peasant. Why just you fidget all the time?" I smiled and I turned to watch his shadow.
"Wanna play another game, pass the time?" We tend to play old children's games when times were slow. He still had proveleges to have books, quills, and toys to keep busy. I had a slab for a bed and utilities in the far corner."Do you have a new one?" He questioned and I quickly answered.
"Guess the Asquardian. Main people we both know. Could be royalty like yourself, shop owners, or those well known. 5 questions only, if you guess before the 5, you forfeit a question."
I could hear him sigh. "Alright."
"So, to begin, I will give one hint. The person I am thinking of owns a shop on Kelgoir."
"Do they have a family?"
"Yes."
"Karson the butcher."
"No. Thats 2."
He stayed silent for a second.
"Is it a woman?"
"Yes."
"Elaine."
"Correct." I smile and he chuckled.
"Why do you suspect you know everyone?"
"Like you said before. I'm a peasant, a very observant peasant." A door interrupted us and I stood and backed up against the far wall.
"Brother, why visit, hasn't father shared what I have done?" I heard Loki speak. I stepped closer to the glass.
"Doesn't change my opinion on you, you are still my brother. Came to see if you needed anything more." I peeked down and saw Thor's arm.
"A meal for my fellow prisoner and I. Lamb and potatoes." Thor moved down and stood in front of the glass wall. I stepped back.
"You want this thief to feed on lamb, after what she has done." He eyed suspiciously and I kept a cold glare. What I have done? His father has done worse to my family.
"She keeps me company." I watched him retreat back in front of Loki's cell. Quiet whispers were exchanged before he left.
"Didn't know you were a thief." He mentioned and I shrugged.
"I took back what was my family's. I don't refret it."
"As you shouldn't." It grew quiet after that before our meals were delivered.
∆
All it took was one week for everything to change. Loki was released for a week to visit Midguard for a reason I was not informed. Everything hurt. The bruises made on my arms and legs. The shapes of handprints on my body hummed in a dull numbness. When Loki had returned, he was quiet at first. Just like when I first talked to him through this wall.
