World was never the kindest.
All of the pain that it gave, all the suffering it offered and the world were never being the kindest. As majestic as this big world could be, to be kind was never its trait. In a place full of human who function by their feeling, this logic world would never be the place in which they would get to be happy so effortless. People constantly to be hurt, bleed their heart out, trying to understand the mess this world could be. Their hearts were in the wrong place, their minds never seemed to cooperate. This world was just a big round and messy place for the messy people.
World would never be the kindest, especially for people like Rose.
In those narrow shoulders of hers, Seung Woo knew the weight it held. When she was being herself, in the corner of the room, Seung Woo knew this place was never meant for her, or she was never meant for this place. She was the kind to always hurt the most when it came to them. Seung Woo couldn't say he didn't hurt in the first place, but the world never was a dark place for him. This world was a mess, yes, but it never hurt him like it hurt Rose.
What it took for a man in love to sacrifice, when what he wanted all this time was to make this woman happy? Bloom the happiest smile she could make? Because loving Rose was never the easiest.
Loving the being that was constantly hurt herself, was never the easiest.
When it came to love, Seung Woo was ready to take and give everything he had, if that meant that would make Rose hurt a little less, to breathe a little easier, to see the world a little brighter. It only fair to share their burdens, wasn't it? If only Rose shared the same vision as him.
If it meant to save people from her own nightmare, Rose would be more than willing to shoulder her problems all by herself. And woe was him; he knew she was one of those people who made unnecessary sacrifices based on her own observations and conclusions. Jung Seung Woo was one of those people she valued to her core, and she would do anything to keep them happy. This trait he knew was a blessing as well as a curse.
Jung Seung Woo never wanted to be saved. Seung Woo never wanted to be kept out of her life. But Rose was so stubbornly selfless, to the point of hurting herself, that meant if she wanted Seung Woo to be happy, then she would do just that. No matter Seung Woo wanted it or not. No matter it would hurt her or not.
The woman he loved was never that simple to unravel. Sometimes she was the equivalent of chaos, but it never made her any less miracle that she was. Seung Woo knew in each day when she talked to him with her eyes sparked with wonder, that he would do anything to deserve his place by this woman's side.

"Do you know that something is always chasing their way to you?" when they had their usual star-gazing, she would give him one or two facts that always led them to a deep talking. Seung Woo liked every little bit of their conversation. Rose was always the prettiest when she spoke her mind out and tried to take Seung Woo to her own world.
"Like, love?" Seung Woo liked to pretend he understood what was she talking about, and he knew Rose also liked it when she knew he tried to understand her.
Her chuckle was always nice to hear, it was all airy and light, like she wanted to blend her existence with her surroundings. By this time, Seung Woo would find himself to gazing not to the sky, but her face. Rose maybe was a mess, but her face was always the mirror of peace, and he liked to be caught in that sight. Rose never was someone that would easily shy away from deep stared, and Seung Woo liked how she didn't care.
"Yeah, in your word, love, and it can also be something else entirely," she turn her face to gaze at Seung Woo instead, and Seung Woo would find those black eyes again, getting caught in the magic that it offered. "This world is always a mess, Seung Woo, and I love how it can make us so beautifully miserable, don't you?"
