Chapter 1-Rebellion

"Help,somebody please, help me..."

I woke up feeling dizzy.

"Where am I?" Everything was blurry.My head was in a terrible pain like it was going to explode.

"What happened?"I wondered,looking around me."This place looks familiar."I thought and I understood immediately that I was in my school's infirmary.

"Seems that you are finally awake sweetie" the school's nurse said, smiling at me.

"Wha-at ha-ppened?" I asked curious touching my head, feeling a bandage all over it.

"We found you at the top of the school,unconscious with your head bleeding.Fortunately it wasn't something dangerous.Just a scratch and few bruises on your legs and hands." the school's nurse told me with a relieving look. I didn't say anything.

"You know, it's the 3rd time we found you unconscious and hurt this month.What's the problem,were you in a fight?"The nurse asked me worried giving me a pain killer.That moment I remembered everything. Demons. They were everywhere hunting me trying to hurt me, again.

"No, it was them."I answered.

"Sweetie, there aren't such things as demons. You are tired." she told me smiling.

"No! You have to believe me"I shouted and stood up from my seat.She looked at me and gave me permission to go to the class."Why everyone thinks that I am paranoid?"I murmured to myself and entered my classroom.

"Look,It's the paranoid demon girl"One of my classmates said,pointing at me.

"Shut up asshole" I shouted and all my classmates started laughing at me. I got out of my class crying.

I started running through the hallways like a psycho that was looking for a way out of the asylum. Some of my professors that saw me gave me worried looks, but apparently they didn't care enough to come after me. After all, I was just another student in the crowd. At last I reached the school gate and sighed loudly. I knew that I'd have to face the consequences sooner or later but I also needed freedom. I threw my backpack outside forcefully.

"I can do this." I whispered to myself and closed my eyes for a second, I was desperate for any signs of hope

Then I just jumped outside, but my fall was rather clumsy. I almost sprained my elbow, to be honest.

At least I wouldn't have to deal with those immature bullies anymore. The thought brought a smile to my face and after picking my things up, I started heading to my town's lake.

The wind was blowing and I had to fix my skirt the whole time. Damn that school uniform. My hair was a mess and one of my hairclips was missing, the whole situation was simply frustrating! Thankfully, I arrived at Nobu lake safe and sound. I smirked when I realized that the weather went back to normal and sat on the grass, feeling carefree.

I started singing a rhythm while snapping my fingers. The frogs were playing cheerfully and my heart skipped a beat when I felt something on my leg-it was a ladybird. I placed it carefully in my hand and giggled when I felt it tickle my head. The world would be so beautiful if humans didn't exist. They would ruin everything-even those disgraceful demons were better!

"Guess I'm nearly insane, then. Hating humans isn't that normal" I brushed off the dust and got up

The lake had a wide range of herbs so many people used to lose their stuff there. I looked at a flower bed and distinguished something that was kind of silver. I reached out to grab it and when I touched it an unknown force threw me on the ground.

"Whoever did this is gonna regret it!" I screamed but it was pointless, no one was there
What the heck was that?

I was about to go home when a slender figure appeared right in front of me. I yelped but I couldn't move. My legs had given up on me.It was a tall, handsome man with glasses.He looked at me smiling and started approching me.I somehow felt peaceful and calm due to his appearence.

"Who are you?"I asked as I was trying to move.I fell down on the hard ground and my ancle started hurting me more than before.The man finally approched me and touched my ancle.

"What are you doing?"I asked but suddenly I couldn't feel any pain.I looked in my ancle and saw that the large bruise on it didn't exist anymore.

"Try to stand up"He told me and hold my hand.I stood up with no difficulty, holding his hand.

"Thank you"I said and hugged him.That man's aura was so relaxing and I immediately forgot everything bad that happened to me the last few days.I pulled away from the hug looking at him in the eyes, smiling."What's your name?How did you do this?"I asked him curious.

"My name's Brad. I am here to warn you for something"He purred, petting my messy hair.I looked at him with my mouth open and I got away from him.

"Are you..?"I asked him, terrified.

"Yes,I am a demon but I'm not here to hurt you.You're in danger (y/n).I wanna help you"He told me in a calm tone touching my shoulders.

"You know my name?How?"I asked curious.

"I was watching you.Bad demons are always behind you.You don't see them often but they want to kill you.I tried many times to save you,but I can't kill them all,I'm not that strong."He admitted with an apologizing tone,looking on the ground.I started shivering.

"Is this the end of me then?Am I going to be killed by them?"I asked and I felt something liquid running down my cheeks.I was crying.

"No(y/n).I know someone that can help you.I will send you to him immediatelly."

"What?who?How?"I started asking him.He touched my cheek and whispered."I will take you to his world,but remember you have to find the gate that it'll lead you in your world withing 30 days.If you don't find it you will be trapped in Dante's world forever"

"Dante?Who is Dante?What are you...?"But before I end my sentence I felt like fainting.I couldn't keep my eyes open and everything turned black.
