Chapter 2. " Jack Frost "

When we all finished dinner and started walking to our rooms. The time it took to get to my room seemed like a year. My feet hurt in my little blue pumps almost like growing pains when your a child. Each step my knees became weaker and weaker until felt my knees collapse under me. I let out a loud yelp of pain when i hit the floor. I pulled up my gown a bit to see my feet covered in frost. " Anna! " I shouted but no one came. It was one of the most fearful moments I had in a long time. I let my body fall back onto the floor as tears streamed from my eyes making two little puddles beside my face.

The pain stopped and my mind took over making me feel like my legs had fallen asleep. I heard the door from down the hall start to slowly open. The face I saw was a huge relief. " Kristoff! " i shouted making him turn his head. He stared at me from across the hall for a few moments before he ran up to me. " Elsa? Are you ok? Here let me give you a hand." I put my arm around his shoulder as he started to help me walk to my room. Pushing open the door quickly he let me lean on the wall before he put a few pillows down on a chair. He helped me up and placed me in the chair. " what's wrong?" He asked with fear in his voice. That was it. No more of this cold. I stood up ignoring the pain and grabbed him holding him close to me. Putting my face near his I was going to lean in for a kiss. His breath was soft and I could hear his heart beating like a drum. I looked at his face and the fear in his eyes was incredible. I can't do this!

I turned my head and pushed him away from me. " I'm sorry Kristoff. I don't know what got into me.... You love Anna and I would never betray her like that. She's my best friend. But my heart is." I said as a tears dripped from my eyes. " Elsa what's going on? You would never do that in your right mind." Said Kristoff with confusion in his voice. " Kristoff my heart is freezing." His eyes became wide with fear as he backed away from me. " Have you told Anna yet?" He said. I looked up at him as I let myself relax as the pain stopped. " Yes Kristoff. She's my sister I tell her everything." I said letting out a sigh of relief. " Well you better tell her about what you tried to do with me. She almost lost all hope in guys and love after Hans. If you tell her something but the truth it could ruin our relationship. She believes you more then anyone." He said as he cringed. " I would never lie to Anna! The only reason I tried to kiss you was because I don't want to die. If you really love our family you would understand how much I care!" I said with passion in my voice. " I I I'm sorry Elsa. " Stuttered Kristoff as he looked in shame. I sighed. " Just go Kristoff lets talk in the morning." I said. " look I love Anna. Elsa your like a sister to me I would never want to hurt you. Please get better, For us all. Your a really good person." He looked at the ground and walked out in shame.

After he left I stood up to go talk to her. Then it hit me. " Something to believe in. " the words Anna had said before filled my head. I looked around my room. " Ya sure. Jack Frost." I said giggling as I looked at the photo the Duke gave us. At that moment the air became crisp cold. The window to my room creaked open in a startling manner. I turned around when I felt my blood run cold and my heart beat in my chest. There was a man as Beautiful as the white snow on a winters day. His hair was white and skin was almost grey. He held a staff in one hand and was wearing a brown cloak covered in frost. He was standing right in front of me with a surprised look on his face. Wait why was a random man standing in my room? I jumped back and grabbed the nearest object. " WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU? " I said holding my mirror over my head ready to attack him. All he did was stare at me in confusion standing on the window. He jumped down but his vision was locked on me. He walked towards me not paying any attention where he was going. He fell over tripping on his own feet. " Who are you? " I asked with fear in my voice " he looked at me without an ounce of fear in his eyes. " Can you see me? He asked me with wonder in his voice.

I shook my head in confusion. " yes I can see you. Your not invisible and you broke into my room! " I said with anger in my voice. His eyes became wide and he got up walking towards me. " Hey back up crazy! Who are you? " I said with fear. He smirked. " My name is Jack Frost. "
