It was a warm, sunny day. (Y/n) woke up to the sounds of happy villagers playing games and running around. Y/n smiled to themself, as the sunlight splashed onto their bed, making a 4-square pattern. Y/n jumped out of bed and picked up their magic wand.
"Which outfit shall i wear today?"
"Hmm..."
Suddenly, Y/n's thinking was disturbed by a knock at the door.
"Uh.. Casual will do fine."
Y/n quickly changed outfits and ran to go open the door. Waiting outside, was, in all his glory, a beautiful, grey cat wearing a vest suit, thick-rim black glasses, and his cute, fluffy hair. Raymond. Her bestest friend. But, lately, Y/n has begun to think differently of Raymond.. She wanted to be MORE than friends.
"Uh.. Y/n? Anybody there?"
"Huh?"
Y/n was snapped out of their trance by raymond's voice.
"Morning, Y/n! I can see you had a great sleep."
"Ahem.. Yep!"
"I was wondering if you wanted to go to the flower garden with me? Its spring again and the flowers are finally blooming!"
Y/n had plans to do a bit of landscaping.. But those could wait.
"Of course! We can leave right now."
.. Wait. Y/n just remembered something.
"Wait.. Just a second."
Y/n rushed back inside and came out wearing their favorite spring outfit.
"How do I look?"
Raymond's eyes lightened up. I think that I just made his day.
"You look perfect! I've never seen you wear that before! Where'd you get it?"
"Able sisters. Was just there yesterday."
"Aww, you should have invited me."
"I can get you another one next time."
"Alright.."
Raymond looked at Y/n with a playful sour face. They chuckled.
The two of them started their walk on the dirt roads, the two of them constantly brushing against eachother because the roads are small. Eventually, Y/n tried something. They grabbed Raymond's hand and both of them kind of panicked a bit. But then, as soon as they got used to it, they made it to the flower garden. All of the roses, cosmos, tulips, and more all shone bright colors in the sunlight.
"Wow.."
Y/n's eyes shone with the glows of different colored flowers. Raymond turned towards them.
"Lovely, isnt it?"
"I--"
Y/n couldnt speak. They and Raymond took a walk through the flower gardens. But, at the end, Y/n stopped Raymond.
"Y/n? What's wrong?"
The feline turned towards them.
"Are you--"
Raymond was cut off as Y/n placed a pink tulip in his hair. A flower he has never seen before, because Y/n had trouble breeding it.
"Huh?"
"Y/n.. It's so.. Beautiful!"
Raymond leaned into Y/n and gave them the biggest hug. Raymond took a blue rose, (no thorns because yeah) and placed it gently in Y/n's hair.
There was a silence, but then..
"I love you, Raymond."
"..."
"..."
"I love you too, Y/n.."
Phew, it has been a while since i wrote a story like that. Well, its been a while since i wrote a story. Anyways, hope you enjoy this.
