Myra's Pov*

The darkness was endless. There was no where to run or hide... I was trapped. I didn't know how long I had been here for. Days? Months? Years? Most of the time I sat curled up in a ball, crying and waiting for the darkness to fade. That was, until I began to hear a voice. It started out as a distant whisper calling my name.
"Myra...Myra..."

I began to follow it. Sometimes it would stop and I'd have to wait until I heard it again.
Then I saw it. An orb of white light in the distance. I slowly walked toward it. I shielded my eyes as I got closer to it, waiting for my eyes to adjust to its light. A wave of energy washed over me as I stared at it in wonder. "What is this" I asked myself. I slowly reached out to touch it.
But when I did my ears began to ring. I closed my eyes and held my hands to my ears as screams of pain and suffering filled the darkness. The white light began to grow bigger and bigger until the darkness was no more....
————————-

I gasped and sat up coughing and gasping for air. My entire body felt numb as I heaved, water spewing out of my mouth and onto the floor.
Wait... the floor?
That's when I took notice of where I was.

I was in small dark room lit with candles and a small table and chair in the corner.
I scanned the room noticing I was not alone. A woman dressed in an elegant red dress stood in the corner of the room staring at me with wise green eyes.

Once I stopped coughing she walked toward me. "I've been waiting many years for you Myra of Kings Landing. It seems that the Lord of Light wanted to keep you alive" she smirked running her fingertips across my cheek.

"W-who are you? Where am I? How do you know my name?" I croaked out backing away from her.
"So many questions" she spoke almost seductively walking closer to me.
I eyed her wearily as she spoke. "My name is Kinvara. I am the High Priestess of Volantis, and loyal servant to the Lord of Light. As for how I know of you... the Lord whispers to me... tells me things, and I listen. Valar dohaeris, Myra, we must all serve just like we will all die" she spoke examining me.

Then it clicked. I glanced down in horror at the deep scars that covered my body. The boat... the men... Abdul and Kareem dead... my death. "H-how is this possible? I should be dead at the bottom of the ocean somewhere" I gasped. "The Lord recognizes your importance Myra. You aren't done just yet... you have a role to play" she states. The candles begin to flicker.

"How did you find me?" I questioned curiously sitting on the bed. She smiled and sat next to me.
I found you washed up on the beach a few days ago and took you back here. The Lord of Light wanted us to meet, so we did" she explained.

I never believed in this Lord of Light cult bullshit until now. I was alive after I had been attacked and drowned. ALIVE.
Sure I had heard of them before since they were quite famous and held a lot of power in Volantis.  But I always thought it was just religion and politics, not the real thing.

"How long was I gone? What day is it?" I spoke frantically getting up looking for an exit.
"Sit down" she spoke quickly grabbing my shoulder tightly, with a strength I didn't know she had. and pushing me back down. Her demeanour completely changed and her grip tightened on my shoulder. Her face hardened, before she smiled again and sat down. "You need rest."

If I wasn't scared of her before I was now.
"Like I said Myra, I found you a few days ago so I am not sure. But the date is 6:00pm, March 5th 350 AC" she spoke.
I felt the blood drain from my face. I had been gone for 2 years. My family probably thought I was dead. And Daenerys... holy shit Daenerys... I left her alone. What if those thugs got to her? And Valyrion?!

"I need to go" I spoke getting up for the second time. This time she didn't stop me.
"Before you go..." she called stopping me in my tracks.
"The Lord of Light warns you: the one who many think is gone, is not. They lurk in the shadows, waiting to strike and slaughter everything in their path. Be careful, Myra of Kings Landing, not all is what it seems."
I nodded and walked out the door.
Daenerys here I come.

"Is it all arranged then?"
"Yes. Everything is set, all you need to do is say the word" the man spoke.
I turned around and looked at the deep water below.
It would be easy to just jump from this window and end it all. Perhaps I should have sooner. What was there left to live for. I had lost everything. My home, my children, my crown.

"Cersi" he spoke again snapping me out of my stupor. But I had him.
I turned around to look at his chiseled jawline, shaggy unkept hair, and tired eyes. "I would do anything for you. I hope you know that" he spoke stepping forward and wrapping his arms around me. I welcomed his embrace.
"I know Jamie" I replied. He stepped back after a few seconds looking around.

"This room is exactly as I remember it. Dad used to teach us how to read here everyday. I thought it would be in ruins by now" Jamie stated.
"Casterly Rock may be where we grew up, but it is not our home Jamie. I don't want to stay here forever" I replied causing him to turn to me.

"You always get to the point don't you" Jamie replied stepping closer and kissing me passionately.
"10000 ships are at your command, your Grace. Her lover is dead, so she is weak. We will not lose" he whispered in my ear.
For the first time in a while, I smiled.
