Let the Games Begin!

It was time. I followed Cinnabun into the room where a tube would shoot me up to the arena. I stood on the circular metal plate and turned to him.

“You’re gonna be great,” he said. He reached into his pocket and pulled something out. He fastened it to my shirt. It was the Humping Pin.

“Cinnabun,” I gasped. “How did you get this?”

He smiled at me.

“I saved it when you got here,” he said. He gave me a hug and kissed me on the forehead. “Good luck, Katlick.”

The tube closed and then it was dark. The next thing I knew I was standing on the metal plate in the arena.

Then I hear the legendary announcer, Ryan Seacrest, and his voice is all around me.

“Ladies and gentlemen, let the 69th Humping Games begin!”

We had to wait a full minute before we could move. It was completely silent as I looked around at the other tributes. Their faces looked as nervous as I was. There was a giant bed in the center with a canopy around it. The Careers would get there first. No way was I gonna make it.

I saw Pita. He was trying to tell me something. I couldn’t read his lips. What did that idiot want now? He better be apologizing for what he said during the interview.

Then it started. The gong went off and it was madness. I ran into the field, not sure of where I should go.

Oh no! The freaky boy from District 9 was running right at me. Gross. I started to back away. He was getting close.

Right before he could get me, Rabbitfoot jumped on him.

“Get off me you ugly slut,” the boy screamed. I laughed.

Rabbitfoot was ripping his clothes off. He tried to shove her away but she bit him on the neck and he screamed.

“I’ve had my eyes on you, stud,” Rabbitfoot said.

I took off running before I had to watch anymore of Rabbitfoot violating District 9 boy. I looked around and saw craziness. Jack already had two girls with him and was going for the bed in the middle.

Dammit. I was going to go for him. I tried to find Pita. I didn’t see him anywhere.

“Hey, Katlick.”

I turned around. It was one of the females from another District.

“Sorry, I don’t remember your name,” I said to her.

“That’s okay. You don’t need to know my name to get it on with me.” She laughed and took a step toward me.

“Hell no,” I growled at her. “I need a man. You get back.”

“Don’t be like that, Kittylick.” She stuck her lip out like she was pouting.

This was a freaking nightmare. I needed a man fast. The girl grabbed my arm.

“Look,” I shouted. “If you ain’t got no wiener, move along.” I pushed her hard. A cannon boomed and a picture of the girl was floating in the sky.

That was fast! She opened her mouth to scream and then disappeared. She was gone.

I ran into the trees. I didn’t see anyone in the woods but I thought I heard something. I walked over to where the sound came from.

“Pita!” He turned around when I said his name. His pants were down around his ankles. Glimmer was standing next to him in a tight dress. “You better pull your pants up right this minute.” I was shaking with anger.

“He’s mine,” Glimmer said. She planted a big wet kiss on his mouth.

“You little whore,” I screamed and rushed her.
