New Family (Dave's story)

" Dave you didn't tell me you were leaving"

"Am so sorry Wyatt. I wasn't planning to leave,it happened so quick. Sorry I couldn't say goodbye properly"

"It's ok , so how are you coping with the changes"

" This place is awful. I dont even know a single person except my dad and brother. Mason doesn't even care "

"So what of Elma have you had from her since you left"

" Well we spoke before I left Lask. I hope she is ok "

" Okay, was just trying to get through something. I saw her at school and she seems to have moved on so quick,I taught you guys were a thing before you left"

" That good to hear,we were never a thing .We were just mere neighbours and family friends. Hope you preparing for your exams "

" Maybe yes and maybe no. Dave it been so hard for me since you left.Who do you want me to study with,I had to study on my own and you know how hard it can be"

" You can find another study patner .Just make sure you prepare well"

"Ok Dave,will try my best"

       I have only spent 3 days in Mordy and it feels like a month. I missed Lask,Elma and everything.I guess she doesn't like me,well i wasn't expecting her to like me so fast .We barely spent 3 months together,enough of Elma. My step mother thinks she can fit into my mom's space ,she is so annoying and she as a 12 year old daughter which she had in her previous marriage and she is 3 months pregnant for my dad . Mason doesn't even care about anything. I wonder how I am suppose to make friends when am schooling from home,my dad thinks that the best option since we just got to Mordy and we don't know anyone yet.

" Dave,your food is ready"

" I am not interested, I have ordered french fries and soda"

"But you should have told me, we have some fries and soda in the refrigerator"

"I know there is fries at home but as long as it belongs to you I don't want it"

"Dave I know how hard it is for you to move on after your mom's death but I promise to be a better mom to you and your brother"

"NOOOO!! You killed my mom. You prevented my dad from visiting us and he couldn't love her as he should because of you and now you want to kill my brother and I. Mason don't touch that food, get up!"

"But it my favorite food"

"I said, get up!!. I will order anything you want"

" Dave this food is free you don't need to spend your money"

" Mason go into the room now. Roseline don't make food for us again"

"Dave,Dave"

 I need to teach Mason how to stop trusting everybody not everybody are as good as he thinks 

"Dave you just wasted $6 to buy this food when we could have gotten it free of charge"

"Mason we haven't spent a week here yet and that stupid father of ours is barely around don't you know she might see that as a chance to get rid of us"

" But she is our new mom so we need to get used to her"

" Don't call her mom, her name is Roseline"

"It's me Helen "

" What do you want?"

" Dave talk to her carefully after all she is our sister"

" Your sister not mine we are not related in anyway .Different mom,different dad"

"I want to talk to you guys "

" Good morning, just wanted to have a word with you guys"

" Just a word, be fast about it and get out"

" Dave you don't need to be rude"

"Well I want to have conversations with you guys"

"Sorry about what happened earlier, my mom is a very nice person. She can't harm anyone of you ,she is even pregnant"

" So you are expecting me to believe ,you are her daughter so you will say everything to favour her. She is the cause of everything we are going through"

"I know it had to believe me but I lost my father when I was 5 and since then it was only me and my mom until she met your dad.My mom was scared of remarrying because my dad was killed by some unknown people and my mom felt it was her fault he died. On one of her outing she met your dad and they became very close. Your dad told my mom that he had kids and that he was no longer in love with your mom"

" It is simply because of your mom he hated her"

" Dave she hasn't finished her speech. So what happened again"

" Your dad told my mom that your mom cheated on him when he was away for work and that wasn't her first time.That all I know"

" You are lying my mom never cheated on my dad"

" Dave just be calm. Helen I don't believe the part you said my mom cheated. She was a very loyal wife"

"Well that all I know. You should try having lunch with us please"

" Okay Helen"

" No Helen we will think about it "

" Alright will be expecting your reply"

I guess I will try and have lunch . I can't afford to spend another $6 and maybe more for lunch

"So Dave don't you think we should go out to have fun and meet new people"

"We should, this place is freaking annoying. I can't believe am home schooling"

" Now you believe,there is a park down the street so we should go there"

"How did you know there was a park down the street"

"Helen told me about it "

" You seem to be so close to that girl"

"She is our sister so i have to be close to her"

" Step-sister not sister"

" Ok your step sister and my sister"

" Anyhow you put it. She is still my step sister"

  Later that evening,Mason,Helen and I went to the park there were lot of kids there it was pretty cool but not as cool as Lask

"Hi am Betty and this is my brother Paul"

" Sorry but we don't know you how are we sure you aren't serial killers"

"Dave that is rude we are here to make friends"

"Mason stay of this we are new here so we shouldn't trust anyone"

" Well live opposite you guys.So I felt it will be nice to say hi"

"You see,they don't have bad intentions.So apologise"

" Am sorry I don't mean to be rude"

    We talked and played together. Betty and I are age mate but she isn't attractive while Paul is 14 and he looks like a 20yr guy. He is so big,I just pray we can get along well"
