Why has everything changed since that day? Why has everyone become so cold and distant? Was it all because of me? Hapin stops in her tracks. "Is it Hapin's fault? Hapin? Hapin?!" She stomps into a puddle, making her shoes soaked. She bends down to take them off, now with only socks on. She liked the feeling of gravel under her feet, the pain made her feel alive. Hapin did this often. She goes to school everyday being judged by her outfit, her hairstyle, etc. But she didn't care about fashion or anything that "normal" girls liked. She just liked the feeling of being Hapin, not being judged by anyone or anything. She looked at her watch, it was past midnight. She stuck out her tongue at the watch. "It's not like they're actually worrying about me". She looked up ahead, she saw a faint light. "Huh? Was that always here?". The street she was on was usually dark, with barely any lights on. She walked closer to the light. It couldn't have been there before.. Hapin thought. She walked even closer till she'd had seen the words "Mary's Books" She stared long enough that when she looked away, she would see colors. What was a bookstore doing open at this hour? Hapin curiously looked through the double window. A girl was on her phone, tapping away. Should I just enter out of curiousity? Doesn't look like they except walk-ins.. "Oh, fuck it.." She muttered under her breath. She walks in nonchalantly. The girl looks up with a bored expression. The girl sighs. "Welcome to Mary's Books, my name is Rina. How may I help you on this fine night?" Hapin just looks at her with no expression. "Um, can I just look around and put it on my wishlist?" Rina picks at her nails. "Do whatever you want girlie, just don't streak." Rina shows Hapin a cheeky smile. What a weird girl..
